One thing I wanna say regarding Shun’s “It’s a hassle” statements, during an interview, he mentioned that his friends and partners always told him he is troublesome and whenever he shared his opinion or got sulky, they told him he was a hassle. So he internalized that and truly felt like if he were to share his troubles or opinions in certain situations, that it would annoy the other TBF members, especially Dai. Also in this episode, Shun didn’t centralize himself about what he was feeling. He did say he didn’t want to spend time with Dai and didn’t even share what was wrong. It only escalated cuz of Ikuo’s interference(no matter how caring it might’ve looked like). & yea I agree that the Panel might have influenced a lot of the public opinions but also it’s the way Netflix edited Shun. The pov the boys had of him and the public’s Pov are totally different cuz we didn’t get to see everything.

I am CACKLING at the whole T-shirt drama! Shun is hilarious to me but I guess it can be super frustrating. I mean they are clearly made for each other though, so it works. 🤭

Heavy on all of this! There are so many extra scenes with Shun that add so much to how he feels and how much he actually told other members. Plus what Dai,Shun and the other spoke of over the past few months.

I essentially had the same opinion of the panel - they definitely informed a lot of the discourse and opinions around Shun. They painted him as a walking red flag and an absolute asshole - but like ... the boy had trauma, he had issues, he was AWARE of it; he just didn't know how to deal with it and needed someone like Dai to tell him to his face "I'm not leaving you, I will fight for this." They made him seem like every little thing he did was a test. BOY WAS 23. HE'D BEEN OUT OF THE ORPHANAGE 5 YEARS. GIVE HIM TIME. - Shun now, compared to before, is like a completely different person. - I WANT GENSEI TO FIND LOVE. PLEASE. HE DESERVES IT.

Ep 10. Was epic! The way Shun was the one to say I like/love you and also initiated the kiss again says a lot about how he is when he’s totally in love. He went into the show saying he wanted a family, not just a boyfriend so him being hesitant in all the steps he went thru showed that he is careful what kind of energy and person he wanted to spend his life with fr. —— Because when Shun falls, he really falls and Is totally in Love! He doesn’t want any space between him and Dai now! It’s like he is so smitten and so in love … he said Dai is his Last person and they even have a song they’ll release called “Last Person” … there are arguments here and there but honestly its one of the healthiest relationships I’ve ever seen!

I still think that the fact they did not include in the show the bit where he explains to Dai how he works in relationships and how he is very slow to go from 0 to 1 and then its fast, at the beginning is insane, because I think it explained so much about him and his actions and way of thinking.

This show was my hyperfixation during the time it was airing, I loved it so much (despite some of the production flaws). It's been so much fun rewatching it with you guys, I really appreciate how empathetic you were towards all the cast members.

i dont know if i see it the same way about the panel. i honestly see the points they kinda make, and i have seen many people watching the show say the same stuff. i honestly just think they just say theyre opinion, like everyone else does, and i kinda see wha t they mean. with the changing they probabyl meant that shun often says dai is too much, with too much energy, and that dai is trying to be more chill to fit shun. i i dont agree, but i can see most points theyre coming from. i dont think they were that harsh on shun either, but i get you guys points. i kinda enjoyed watching them . i also didnt have that much problem with the editing. just that the eps were short, but what do you wanna do about it?

also in an interview he said Right now him and Dai are at 95 points, not yet 100 "Because if we're gonna be together till the day we die and that counts as 100 points, we still have a long way to go. (meaning that the remaining 5 points will be for the future/the rest of their life) 😭😭😭
