OffGun are pillars of gmmtv for such a good reason. I love all of their shows (even Theory of Love, which I know has people divided, but I've never cried harder watching a show and feel so much catharsis from a character's rock bottom. Plus, a show chock full of romcom references will always sway me lol) To me, Gun is so brilliant and Off is so so skilled that they truly had to pair up bc they match each other's talent. The plot never matters to me, I know I'm going to watch their new series. I'm also a HUGE fan of their variety content. They are variety kings! If you want something fun to watch, I HIGHLY recommend 'Off Gun Fun Night'. My favorite episodes are the sleepover/camping episodes they did with TayNew (that friendship is so great too). I haven't rewatched Not Me since it came out, but I am keeping it in syndication bc there are truly so many iconic scenes that I love returning to. And the fan edits went crazy with this show, haha. It was such a fun time to be a fan online! Everyone was so excited when this came out. Now rewatching, I'm remembering how anxious it made me lol Excited to be with you for the gags!

Ok I am sure someone said this already but Not Me took place during the height of political unrest in Thailand. Nuchy the director and OffGun had been trying to get it made for years. It was a HUGE risk for GMMTV to even air the show. There were protest actively going on, some of the activist are in the series. Many people get angry that it didn't get they hype it deserved which agreed but protester were getting jailed during the time it aired. GMMTV was walking a very thin line.

OK this is not in defense of Cooking Crush I get why people didn't love but just some added info. The series was OffGun's baby. Gun requested it for multiple reasons 1. He's a child actor that had only done drama/heavy trauma roles. He wanted to try his hand at comedy to be a well rounded actor and learn a skill. 2. Off is a comedian and mainly did dramas with him cause that's the preference for Gun. Gun wanted to be in a show with Off were Off got to be funny and in his comfort zone. 3. Gun desperately wanted to do a romantic comedy. They had a lot of creative control over the series. It was like a gift to fans. A lot of real life tidbits were included as well as fan moments recreated. For example the restaurant in the hotel is real and Off had taken Gun to dinner there cause he thought it was interesting and different. The story line about touch sensitivity was a way for Off to open up and talk more about his aversion to touch and how he's gotten more comfortable over time. The Uncut didn't have to do with Sex scenes. The original aired on WeTV and the cut on YouTube. The editing was a MESS on YouTube and I always encourage people to watch the WeTV version. Like Off's character is crazy in love from the start. They cut that on YouTube. They cut a lot of the content that makes it clear these are two gay men falling in love. Like not the typical oh I just fell for you like some of the older GMMTV shows used to do. There are also some class consciousness elements that get cut and the advocation for sex worker rights got cut. So they did sanitize the show in ways I found super frustrating. I love how sweet it was because they have never gotten to be sweet like that before and It was truly a challenge for Gun. He was crazy nervous shooting because comedic timing is hard and he wanted that challenge.

yaaaay! my favorite BL! just a heads up, since you seem to be watching this in a playlist, i saw this happen to another reactor that it will skip over a part if it has any sort of trigger warning. so in ep 12 one of the parts has a trigger warning on it and if you watch it in a playlist it will skip it. so just pay attention to which part you are on when you watch ep 12 in case this happens to you as well. :)

I’m new here! Happy you picked up not me! It’s nice seeing reactors watching this series for the first time. I giggled everytime you both mention this came next to cc in your chronology.😂 CC wasn’t really the best intro to watch for offgun.. anyway, just enjoy the ride as this is a show from 2021, where the situation then is way different from what we’re in at present. also you are noticing familiar cast that are from Only Friends. Quick fact, when this aired, P’Jojo, the director of Only Friends expressed his love for the series and because they had such a good cast (Lookjun, Papang, Mond, and First) he had decided to cast them for Only Friends. :D You might be surprised with a lot of details along the way, but I have to say, Not Me paved way a lot of things and topics during the time it aired, inspiring other shows to create more themes or topics you probably have already seen in the more later series. Won’t spoil which is which, but will mention it later once the episode is up. 😊

You'd think the brothers would have each other's numbers or social media info, at the very least. White has Todd's number in his phone by name .. so it wasn't like Todd tracked White down last minute to tell him about Black. Why do White and Black know almost nothing about each other? It's one of the only things that bothered me about this show. Everything is really good.

I think one of my favorite of Gun's performances is in Leap Day. It's not BL but it's SOOOOOOOOOOO good. It has Pond and Dew in it as well. Gun plays an autistic character who is Pond's uncle I believe... Its fantastic.
