Next year is OffGun's 10th anniversary as an on-screen couple! Best (and worst lol) part about them is they feel like the break they took between Theory of Love and Not Me was too long and they want to do a series together every year. As TayNew put it, they NEED to do a show together every year to keep their sanity. Also Gun's best role is The Gifted imho (also GMMTV's best show for me). He's without Off in that and chews everyone up. It's also Nanon and Phuwin's best performance.

Gawin did lots of BLs before as a side pairing, but Be My Favorite was his first as a main role, it's an okay series for me, not super good nor super bad, but he is a good actor, as you will see in Not Me.

Gawin changed pairings a lot. It's actually funny because he was in a pairing with Podd, then Podd was paired with Khaotung and Gawin with First, and now FirstKhaotung are a thing! Gawin is now paired with Joss! About "Gun being the best GMMTV actor" (which I agree with): it mostly comes from his performance in The Gifted (GMMTV's best show in my opinion). Ever since that show, Gun has always been expected to deliver in more drama-heavy shows and BLs!

First is definitely up there as one of the best actors at GMMTV with Gun and Khaotung for me. First and Gawin always steal this show for me everytime I watch it! They are so good together in this show. Also I love that Khaotung's favourite character that First has played was Yok until his current role as Kant in the Heart Killers.

white is really buoyed by the fact that no one in their right mind would be like, "aha! you're a secret twin!" lol. anyways, i followed the production of this show closely while it was airing and one thing about p'nuchy, she absolutely is going to try and make the show look as good as she can (natural, gritty, but she loves a good backlit sunrise/sunset shot... me too damn) with the limited resources gmmtv provided. i remember they restricted her budget tremendously for things like cameras, music, and the motorbike rentals (as well as time)... although she held them at gunpoint and they allowed her two extra episodes, haha. she also referred to the gang (especially first) as cats lmao. i'm glad you're more on board with this show after this episode!

So, I think Black was beat up by anonymous goons that were hired by some unknown person, which I'm not sure how Todd or White know that but it's the only way any of this makes sense. Cus ur right, if it was someone in the gang who did the actual violence they should be shocked to see him come back unharmed and also would have some sort of evidence of the beating bc Black would never go down w/out a fight. If one of them hired goons, it would be easier to hide his reaction to seeing Black/White and maintain cover until he figures out how Black escaped the attack. Tho, he also should have gotten confirmation from the goons that the job was done, could have checked hospitals to find him, etc. But ya kinda gotta just roll w/ it bc as gritty/real as it is stylistically compared to other gmmtv shows, basically none of the core plot makes any sense unless you squint from 1000 miles away lol.

gawin is such an underrated artist under gmmtv. i loved seeing him in not me w/ first, and as a firstkhao enjoyer i would still love to see them paired in another series one day. also while i do think there are blatant inconsistencies within white's acting, it does help to remember that they are identical twins and no one has any idea that black has any other family since he is estranged from his parents. it wouldn't be the gang's first thought that this person is someone else, even if they might subconsciously know this person isn't black. white's hesitance to fully commit to his act as black is explained further along the series as we explore him as a changing character (imo) 🫶

I kinda love the lil square they did. Gawin - Podd (Dark Blue Kiss side couple), Podd - Khaotung (Tonhon Chonlatee, Podd as Tonhon + Khao as Chonlatee; the show is iconic, but also not good.) Gawin - First (Not Me, absolutely awesome pairing), then our FirstKhao became paired in The Eclipse, and i do not see them changing anytime soon (paired since then in Only Friends, right now The Heart Killers, and then in the upcoming Cat For Cash. Yes Gawin was paired with Krist, but only for that show, then poof Singto surprise came back to GMMTV and now KristSingto (from SOTUS) is a thing again, with their new show coming soon. And now Gawin has a man TALLER than him, which is a feat cause he's already tall, with Joss, who never really did BL before, but was in 3 Will Be Free in a throuple with Tay Tawan and a female actress named Mild. excited to see how they do in the vampire BL My Golden Blood and in OF Season 2. Podd, I love Podd he has gone through a bunch of pairings and was up until super recently mostly playing the guy who gets in the way of the main BL pairing (Wandee Goodday for example). Now! he is gonna be paired with Papang our Daddy Dan in Boys in Love. sorry for the info dump!

I can be a one and done with any show lol I will just skip stuff if I can’t get into it. I kind of think of not me as another passion project because it was so politically charged. GMM didn’t really give them much of a budget to work with so they had to get super creative. I think of it like a indie film. It’s funny all the stuff that you guys are finding that I remember them talking about behind the scenes like the fact that the motorcycles they could only rent for a specific amount of time and they end up changing scenes in the end because they just couldn’t keep the bikes any longer Pretty sure off and Gun and put personal money into this one too. But I could be remembering that wrong. I just know they had to fight to get it made and fight to stretch a nonexistent budget. I never noticed all the little things so it’s kind of fun as you guys point them out.

OMG OK I mentioned the same thing about the budget, but I wasn’t sure if I was remembering it correctly. Yeah they really struggle to get this series done. I think it’s interesting to see all of the ways they worked around their limited budget.

In my opinion gun is head and shoulders above everyone else in gmmtv. Only one who gets close is probably nanon. If I made a tier list of gmmtv actors they would be in the top tier.

First is right up there for me with Gun as the best actor GMMTV has. If you watch the Eclipse, his crying scenes in that show are PHENOMINAL. his character goes through a lot of self discovery and he does such a wonderful job portraying that. he is also really good in not me as well but he is not the main lead so there arent as many scenes for him.

oh i'm glad someone else remembers this! they also had to do last-minute shooting for a least one episode (as in, filming on a thursday/friday and airing it on that sunday... we were all like "hello???"). but honestly, even if i didn't know about the budget limitations, i would still willingly ignore them because the show has vision. you don't get tv like this very often!

When Not Me was airing, I think everyone was really surprised how much Off had developed as an actor. The director mentioned that they wanted OffGun to bring their a game and rise to the challenge. Just goes to show you how much someone can change when you give them an interesting, deep script. I’m so excited that they’ll be working with that director again this year!

I’ve always seen White’s awful unprepared portrayal as Black in the first two episodes as an intentional choice to highlight his privilege. White just assumed because he’s his twin, already graduated from an international university, and seems to have mostly gotten his way from his dad’s connections, that he’d be able to trick them and pull off anything Black would’ve done without advanced preparation. I think not bothering to look at his class schedule is a prime example of this mentality: he just assumed he’d know whatever they were learning. By the time he’s at the garage he’s too deep in. Also, I think it’s pretty expected for Black not to have told anyone about his estranged twin, so jumping from “you’re being weird” to “you have a secret twin” is a pretty far leap and why none of them have done that yet.

They are all so hot! I felt that too. I'm watching this for the first time and I have a new appreciation for Off and Gun. I never found them all that attractive before. Mond has always been sexy... I adore First and Gawin. Daddy Dan just doesn't do it for me though. Maybe because he reminds of an ex-bf.. 🫠

Gun actually has acted outside of GMMTV shows and have won awards for acting. He was also nominated for a National Award I think. He is a child actor and has got glowing reviews for this acting during his teen years. Which is why he is considered one of the best GMMTV actor. He was an actor before joining GMMTV. First and Khao are good actors for sure but Gun is definitely in a league of his own for me.

Actually before Gifted Gun was already a famous actor and had been nominated for a national Award. Gifted was in 2018. And he was a prolific child actor. He was also in PNuchy’s 2015 Drama The Blue Hour for which he got so much praise for his acting.

Creo que la mayor diferencia entre Black y White es que crecieron de diferente manera y pues White al estar fuera de Tailandia no sabe mucho de los problemas de ahí y ese es su mayor obstáculo para su carrera, el todo lo ve desde afuera, mientras que Black lo vio con sus propios ojos y lo vivió, ambos son inteligentes (aunque aveces se puede dudar un poco de white jaja)
