yoh is his first name! tanada is his last name. anyone correct me if im wrong but since segasaki is his school senpai, he can call yoh by his first name? but yoh would use segasaki to refer to him bc its respectful. yoh’s “mind break” ig in this episode coming from him not wanting to be jealous because man-san is his friend is so… cute? lol. also something i just love about this show is the casual intimacy (if you could call it that lol, lots of it is charged) maybe it comes from the dom/sub of it all, but i hate the lack of touching in some other bls. like y’all are together! why are we only touching when it’s sexually informed. next ep will be a whirlwind. love the japanese bl bathtub scenes they’re always so good

that's the romance trope of disavowal baby--you have to disavow the desire and be MADE to want it so it's not YOUR kink/agency, it's just the horrible charisma of that wretched weatherman oh no I'm tied up how did that happen?! here the submarine sandwich is so disavowed he literally does not admit what's happening even to himself. but it's romantic because the dom's love is patient, his love is kind, and he happens to know what baby wants better than baby does That's the fantasy, too--never having to ask for it, it's just given to you--which is why this trope can fit truly ludicrous levels of miscommunication (which no one REALLY wants in an IRL relationship). not that i've read anything about it.

Fun fact! Man-san’s husband, Mizuishi Atomu, was the blue ranger in the season of Sentai, Kiramager, before the season Yoh’s actor’s Zenkaiger, which was that season would be followed by Segasaki’ actor season, Donbrothers. Additional Fun fact, he was also in a movie where he played a gay Rentboy who is hired and befriended by a gay elderly man, called Old Narcissus. It’s really funny cause us fans of both tokusatsu (shows like Kamen Rider, Super Sentai , Ultraman, etc) and BL have a term for this called the “Toku to BL Pipeline” as many actors tend to show up in BLs either after their Toku roles or vice versa. This was how I personally got into BL, as this show, and Cherry Magic, were the first few BL’s I got into as I’ve seen the main leads in their respective role first before watching their BL next. (Akaso Eiji as Adachi was Banjo Ryuga in Kamen Rider Build or as us rider fans call it, Akaso’s actual first BL role LOL) Also letting you know that most of these men have been my favs in both BL and Tokusatsu alike, so I’m being served on both ends and I’m eating REAL GOOD.
