Speaking as someone who was sent to the ER by squad at 3am not even a month ago due to a panic attack....this is how they happen for some of us! I woke up from a dead sleep with sharp chest pain and in my confusion could not get myself calm or comfortable and went into a full blown panic attack. I couldnt breathe and almost passed out. It was so bad i couldn't walk and felt like my chest was caving in. It was the scariest moment in my life! Im good tho lol and Adams version had me in tears! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

So for jihoon hyunbin context, iirc in the webtoon it’s explained that their relationship got pretty toxic leading jihoon to break up w hyunbin. Which put hyunbin in this “if I can’t have u no one can/u can’t be happy” spiral mindset and he set up the scandal to ruin his career/other relationships

ughhhh i never cry over bls but that scene on the beach? when eden has to run away a bit bc he's sort of quietly overwhelmed, and then realizes that he's in love? that was so real it startled me into tears, lol. and that spontaneous-feeling emotional moment just happening in the midst of all the hi-level soap going on around them?!?! this show is WILD. i enjoyed it more than i expected to.

I agree, BuB isn’t a bad BL. People are so critical of BLs like they are expecting some kind of Shawshank-level, Marvel budget cinematic experience when these are tiny little studios in Asia that don’t have the budget the big 4 kpop companies even give to a single MV of their biggest group. The actors don’t have tons of experience and range. They are from small places sometimes. People just expect SO much that it’s like…they can’t even enjoy the shows for entertainment value any more. They have to pick them apart. I’ve seen some truly sucky BLs. Ones where at the end you are like “I just watched 20 hours of a show and I can’t tell you the plot”. A corny romance or quickly ended drama doesn’t make a show bad. It just makes it easygoing to watch. And for people who use BLs as an escape from reality like I do, that is perfectly fine.

yeah, everyone was saying this was trash, so i didn't watch it initially, but it's actually really enjoyable! of course, it didn't have the greatest budget and some scenes were for sure cringey, but it was still good!!

The irony is that they didn't show KB's character kissing Nine's character, but these are the two who (that we know of) have actually kissed irl (Nine being Nine wouldn't shut up talking so KB told him if he didn't shut up he would kiss him, Nine being Nine carried on talking and the inevitable happened - it's a story they've both recounted so is verifiable).

i don't think anyone explained this, at least here in the comments, so here is why hyunbin does what he does: in the webtoon we get a lot more backstory, hyunbin was extremely possessive of jihoon. he would get really jealous and angry when jihoon kept gifts from fans etc bc jihoon was "supposed to belong to him only". he asked jihoon to step back from the public eye but being an idol is jihoon's dream so ofc he said no. but hyunbin, as you can probably tell, doesn't take no for an answer. so he set jihoon up and tried to ruin his career so he would finally be his only. obviously he miscalculated because jihoon left him. and that's how we got here there is actually a lot more to the other characters too. in the webtoon eden has a lot of internalised homophobia and is extremely against being perceived as queer, jihoon who is gay takes offence to many things eden says. in the beginning he doesn't flirt with eden because he likes him, but to make him as uncomfortable as possible. but as they get to know each other more and more they both start to fall for each other. however eden doesn't realise his feelings yet, he was still in denial. it's jay who helps him realise he is in love with jihoon and helps him come to turns with liking men. in the webtoon jay never conspired with hyunbin, he was just a sweetheart
