Maybe I give too much credit to Porsche for the first couple dumb things, but I always thought it was him just TRYING to get fired or kicked out, not understanding how deep he actually was in it already. Like, "if I'm annoying or stupid enough, they'll drop me and leave me alone, because I'm clearly not a threat, and I'll go back to making ends meet myself" still stupid but I would do something similar probably lol

I think everyone was surprised how goofy this show gets when it first aired. And it's nice! As we go, it's a really great way to balance all the darker and more anxiety inducing stuff.

Remember we've got 14 episodes and they do spend time filling out episodes later, but in the beginning, I actually like that they're taking the time to world build before things take off. We're meeting a lot of returning characters in one episode! If I remember correctly, my favorite episode is next week! Can't wait :))

Fun fact: the bread company belongs to Mile's family, which is a pretty big corporation in Thailand and it was Mile who partially funded the show. The show was initially being developed by another company, and they even released the pilot trailer for it with diferent actors in some roles. But when the whole project was about to be dropped Mile came in and paid for it. Which is how they got the amount of budget they did and resources for some of the more lavish scenes.

They released a trailer a whole year before the actual release and it was so worth the wait (they had some difficulties that's why it got delayed) I watched the series while it was airing so waiting a whole week for an episode to come out literally made me insane, I couldn't stop thinking about it. And you are right it truly got everything 😅

When i tell people to watch i kind of frame it as episodes one and two are really two halves of a pilot and showcase kind of some of the style and tones they are going for. Episode 3 is the beginning of the show (i mean, not all of the main characters have even appeared on screen yet).
