I remember there being a bit of discourse on twitter at the time about The Boyz incorporating long portions of the VR throughout the performance, and while it was a weird visual experience at first for me as well, I really appreciate how they said “what the hell” it’s the finale it doesn’t matter but still performing a very serious, epic type finale song. Retrospectively, I actually really love the cohesion of interesting choreo, props, and VR sections that give it a bit of their uniquely innovative flair. Let us all sigh of relief at the end of TBZ’s major suffering and enjoy their new era approaching soon🙇‍♀️

SF9's song is one of their songs to the fans. Basically telling Fantasy that because of them, SF9 can "Believe" that they will succeed. Not giving up on challenges and together we can overcome. But of course it being SF9 they will give a beautiful/sexy performance to it since that was their identity especially on the show. Their other fan songs are more funky bops or in the feels.

if I watched it real time (I would've hated it bc I am weak to fanwars lol) BUT I would've been rooting for Ateez since their Wonderland performance! Then, I'd get really attached to their energy and the dramatics (like when I actually first saw Ateez, hongjoong would've had that wicked smile and it'd be over for me lol) But I would've wanted BTOB to win solely based on I think they played the best game. Their first performance was wonky, but after that, they learned, and it was an upward trajectory. Every decision they made was so smart and I'm also leaving the show totally charmed by them. They should've been given miss congeniality based on the variety alone

SF9 find the backup dancers’ outfits funny because colorful neon coats are a common look for old-school Korean comedians. If sb ’ve seen NCT U’s cover stage of the comedian group Celeb Five, where Celeb Five, dressed in colorful neon outfits, performed right after NCT U,, they ’d get it easily.

Again, glad I never had to experience this live. However this show will forever be special to me as it made me a kpop fan and an Atiny!!! I love the dynamics between these groups and the all around fan boying of each other. The respect and love was so genuine and wholesome. The best part was the fact Ateez didn’t just hang flags with their logo during the performance but had a flag for each group on the show. Come on!!! Had me smiling and crying at the same time.

Idk if it was mentioned but San literally had just gotten back from his grandfathers funeral here. He talked about it on his Lee mujin service idk if yall remember. It’s why everyone is kinda touchy around him and he’s quiet and spacey. I think btb knew about it too. So Minhyuk was being a sweetie because he adores San. But yeah he didn’t cry or anything until after they got home from this performance/recording. So everyone was just extra mindful.

The Real is NOT a song to cry to and YET it always makes me so emotional. The Kingdom performance in particular makes me sob: from the message of humility, to the banners with all the other groups’s names, to them going to BtoB and skz and dancing with them… it was so nice seeing ateez just let go of the damn competition and telling themselves and the other groups: “hey forget about the show and rankings, the Real coolness/멋 is having ur own style and being authentic to yourself!!” like… the balls and also gentle heart for that to be their last message in a competition. oh my ateez 🩷 also, them having a little all-girls dance squad kills me… feminist kings for even more feels i like to watch the MV right after the live kingdom performance bc it starts off with Mingi and it feels like coming home. also when they give him the dance break 😣🩷 thank you so much for reacting to this whole mess i hope u enjoyed all the beautiful boys it’s been a ride.

I have watched this performance of The Real 100+ times including when this aired. I NEVER saw that the mics spelled 멋 til yall just pointed it out!
