El Capitxn has some sort of voice condition. He talked about it on Suchwita. I guess its more of a psychological thing than a physical thing, but his voice always has that quality to it. It does get better or worse depending on the situation he is in though I think. He used to be a singer in an kpop group but had to stop because he couldn't sing anymore and then it eventually impacted his speaking voice as well.

i wanted to comment about this too! :) i really recommend you guys watch the suchwita episode with jang yijeong (el capitxn) because you seem to be really interested in him as a person, and because he talks about his condition on there. (this is not a request. i don’t know if you watch shows like yoongi‘s on your own time or want to „react“ to it on video, tbh. i just think it would make a nice addition to the whole el capitxn „lore“ context. 🤷‍♀️) and side note, he recently founded his own production studio VENDORS with a couple of his producer friends and he seems to be meeting up with some international producers these days. his instagram broadcast channel is really fun. and his selfies are worth ogling at - he’s beautiful!

I think Kenta is to Changsub what Woonkgi is to El Capitxn, maybe not to the same extent but did you catch Changsub's little fatherly smile at his part? And a same vibe when for Prison in the practice he had the idea of Kenta showing his abs he looked so proud and so did Kenta. He was also chosen for both songs and was the first person to be announced for both. THAT'S HIS SON!!

Kyungho didn't even do anything in this ep but I keep replaying his one second reaction to Park Han's note in the bridge, it's so hot. I'm so down bad for him, he is in my top 3 for sure. Just a small correction. El Capitxn said the cause of it is unknown but might be "neurological", not psychological. Neurological is "brain/nervous system", while psychological is "mind". So it probably is something physical, just not easily diagnosed.

i'm here to with some pei pa koa trivia!! 1) the pronounciation is pretty close to what you're saying, but koa is just pronounced more like "koh". 2) it's named for the loquat fruit/plant, also known as a pei pa (in cantonese) and pipa (in mandarin), which is also the name of a traditional chinese instrument, named as such because it's shaped like the fruit. 3) a while back there was a whole thing in malaysia where an ice cream company was selling a pei pa koa flavour and it was super popular but then it got banned by the government because it's allegedly illegal to sell medicine as food

Lol I was waiting for you guys to get to the Chih En learning how to show facial expressions arc since you talked about how his face wasn't selling it. Also was hoping you would catch that moment where Chih En was just nonchalantly holding Daisuke, So cute. There is something about his face that does read Kamden. It's like Han Yujin where he does look like Kamden but also doesn't at the same time. Also the idea of Beat Team all wearing wigs then snatching them off mid performance? Brilliant and Hilarious. They totally should've done that and probably would've won that way.
