guys i think you watched the wrong thing in the beggining. charging gel episodes(they are on youtube)are actually the ones that are extra scenes from the episodes and they become very important later so i suggest you check them out in the future!

They indeed shoot everything, if not most of it, on iPhone, the camera you see on the behind the scenes is recording the behind the scenes, there is a beautiful shot of Babbin in one of the episodes where they taped the phone to a shelf so they could get an overhead shot.

The Charging Gel episodes can be found on YouTube. Someone already shared a playlist of them. But I have to warn you that (as least last time I checked) only the first 3 episodes have been subbed on the official Looke account. The rest of them were fansubbed by another user on youtube. And btw, regarding your question about the "hearts" on the uniforms, they indeed represent the grade of each student. Chian is a senior and Fou4mod is a freshman.

this is my first time watching this show and this whole charging gel thing is so interesting. Like, without this patreon, I would've never known that it was required watching. I wonder how casual bl watchers would learn this. this isn't a critique! I just think it's an odd choice to hide a part of the story telling on a different platform. I wonder if they should've made the charging gel bonus scenes behind the credits? Or made a title card at the end saying "see more on charging gel" or something. Idk. I need to watch them still, so I don't have context.
