I hope you go right into Between Us right after this. There are some fixed points that overlap, but it's not the same story over again. Also ... Yacht has a much bigger role in that one.

If I'm not mistaken, the "floating raft" scene that kicks off ep. 13 (right after Korn promises he will take Intouch there after they "have freedom") is depicted again in ep. 10 of Between Us -- but of course from the Win/Team perspective.

Reincarnation or not, if the guy I was dating started talking marriage approximately 5 minutes after we started dating, I would be running for the hills. I think that is the craziest part of the timeline for me. Also, the bright light through the window onto the bed at the resort lines up with about 50% of the hotel rooms I've stayed in. Especially the cheap ones. I still remember hanging the spare blanket over the curtain rod at one place.

I always took Pharm being so hesitant about skinship and announcing to the world that they are together was because In was so vocal and out about his love for Korn…and look where that got them 😭😭These episodes did really good with showing how the closer Dean and Pharm became the more you start seeing Korn and In’s souls appear. And imagine all of us screaming at the tv when that preview for eps 16 appeared and we had to wait a week for it to drop 😭😭😭 Prepare a whole box of Kleenex for the rest of this ride 💕💕

First time watching this show, and seeing Korn’s character progression genuinely hurts. Wanna preface with there are many problems, but suicide is a permanent reaction and a solution to nothing. The more we see of Korn’s backstory, the more I feel that he most likely panicked and felt it was the only “solution” he could find at the time. We see so many portions of his life are closed off and controlled by others, so many doors closed even socially with his peers due to his family, let alone the pressure to continue the illegal family business he hates. He’s alone and struggling bc he feels he has to protect his brothers, the few people he has truly in his corner, then Intouch essentially pries his way into his life through a door he thought was closed, and it’s wonderful and only his, even with the societal pressures. Then his dad finds out and threatens the only precious thing he has that’s his and his alone, his relationship with Intouch and worse, he threatens to seriously harm In. THAT will be the fallout, not harm to himself (which he likely feels he could handle) but to In. And that conversation with his brother, while meant to be supportive and helpful, almost felt like Korn was reassuring his brother, telling him to be a cop and own his future, even if it meant leaving him behind, was okay. And his brother was supportive back, telling him to do what he wants, and Korn did, and then his dad catches them. And the fallout is happening in front of his eyes and In is getting hurt and he loves him and he just wants it to stop and if he’s gone, it’ll stop, right? And so he does what he feels he can to make it stop, thinking that In has a whole family besides his dad and plenty of friends who love him (unlike himself) and he’ll be okay and potentially even better off without him in the picture.

I really think they tried the movie classic "she's wearing glasses, she can't be attractive" with the added fugly wig on Ja to distract from how good looking he is actually. Probably to preserve Dean being the ideal.

It's a team bonding retreat, RJ! Lot of clubs did this in school. They were always fun. We would do raffles and car washes to raise money for them.

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but this show is a prime example of why I don’t find reincarnation tropes romantic. They are basically being haunted by souls from the past. At least Khemjira went all the way with the horror aspect

1200 kids had lunch at one time? Ain’t no way. We had 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th lunch. So at my high school we had 4 blocks in a day (1.5 hrs each) and lunch would take place during C block. If you had 1st lunch, you go to lunch then go to C block. 2nd lunch goes to 30 mins of C block then lunch, then back to finish the last hour of the block. 3rd lunch does an hour of C block, lunch, then the last 30 mins of C block. 4th lunch would have lunch after C block. And it wasn’t broken up by grade, just certain classes had lunch together. 4th lunch succcckkedd because you had to be hungry an extra hour and a half more than 1st lunch.
