I am not Thai, but this is my understanding of Thai nicknames. Your parents give you your nickname when you’re born along with your legal name and it can be any word in any language (though usually Thai, English or Mandarin). The most common choices for words fall into a couple of different categories. The name will often either: -Be a shortened version of their legal given name (Gun from Guntaphon) -Reflect a desire for the child (Bank for financial prosperity) -Reflect something about the child (Smile for a child with a nice smile) -Just a word they like the sound of From my understanding, you can also choose a nickname for yourself later in life. Since the name isn’t on any documents you just have to tell people to start calling you the new nickname. Idk if this answers your question, but hopefully someone found it helpful! :)

OH. And I agree, I can't with the singing. I love First. He's an incredible actor. One of the best at gmmtv... but I thought it was a joke in the first episode. I could not believe that was meant to be tolerable, like everyone just breezed by it. The only BL that can get away with singing is My School President bc it's literally about music and bands. And also, 2Gether because AGAIN music is a big element of the show. I skip past ALL other singing.

as someone who’s caught up with the series, all the characters are so complicated so it’ll be interesting to see your opinions change as it goes along but my fave character has to be sand. though I will say nick is the most relatable and I feel a bit crazy for saying so because of the things he does but it’s like looking in a mirror sometimes. lol 🧎‍♂️

I was drawn to Sand (and First) from the begining of the show but Ray (Khaotung) really got to me in the next episodes. He plays Ray so well and his expressions and mannerisms captivated me like, that's my babygiiirl. Can't wait for you guys to witness the acting Firstkhao bring to the table!!!
