thanks for another fun reaction! while they're all not great friends to each other taking into consideration their age and that they share their special students program thingy as queer kids makes sense out of why they stuck with each other. while i have some gripes with the writing later on at this point the mess is very much grounded in the characters. sand is known to not be able to say no, so him yielding to ray - however frustrating - makes sense. believe the threesome thing is more a deliberate technique ray employs to scare competition off. he's way too possesive to want to share either mew or sand. top and mew would be better apart, but again - it makes sense that they both feel like they have to see this through together (atm mew is still resisting it but we can sense how he still has feelings for top despite himself). i don't get them, but as characters it feels like a pride and control thing. very happy mark gets all the appreciation he deserves, he is fantastic in this and i am losing my mind over him constantly just like adam apparently. as for boston: i don't think he's a romantic but there is enough evidence that he actually enjoyed nick's presence. obviously they both want different things and boston was a dick about it, but it makes sense that he's upset with nick. this episode is pretty devisive in terms of whose actions are deemed to be inappropriate (top undressing mew as either romantic or crossing the line etc) so curious to hear your thoughts on it tmr. i for one do not understand why anyone would be upset about a friend sleeping with a younger sibling (unless in this case it'd be excplicitly about trying to prevent heartbreak), but i enjoyed the face journey adam had when rj figured out that atom is chueam's little brother.

its so funny hearing you guys complain about the audio but i didnt notice it at all after watching "Love in the Air". that BL had the worst audio i have ever heard (but the chemistry and storyline was so good i ignored how awful the audio was). haha

Tbh I don't think it was fair of Cheum to ask all that consideration of Ray when none of them ever cared about him in the first place, all they ever did since the first episode was to call him a burden and an asshole (and he hadn't even been an asshole yet lmao) and use him for his money, they never cared enough to really check on him and develop a real friendship. And that's why he was so emotionally dependent on Mew too, because Mew was the only one he ever opened up to and that cared enough about him (even if it was, like, crumbs of affection). Also, Mew and Ray are equally as bad for each other on this episode, Ray is hung up on him, having like this emotional dependency even tho he clearly doesn't actually like him romantically, and Mew is using his affection to get back at Top and using all of Ray's weaknesses (that he knows about bc he's the only one Ray opened up to) to have his little wild moment.
