It looks like a big juicy orange, which makes you a character from a Robert Graves novel who was addressed as (i'm not kidding) the Orange Nymph....powerful, lovely but very dangerous, priestess of the Triple Goddess. He derived her from the Hesperides, guardians of the "golden apples," and of course their province was the ultimate westward gateway of the Middle Sea.

Whoa! Thank you so much for your comment. Thanks to you, I’ve just discovered a new book I might have to read “The Golden Fleece” I absolutely love the idea of the Orange Nymph — a priestess, an embodiment of the Divine Feminine! And double whoa! Robert Graves lived on the Mediterranean island of Majorca, a place that has always felt a little magical to me. I took a trip there with my mother back in 2016. Let’s see if I can find some photos and share a few with you all.

Ask the ancient Greeks - the Hesperides was their story. Maybe it had something to do with the color of sunset and the color of the 'golden apples.'
