Sublime! People who cancel their subscription don’t need to announce it. What’s the point of saying goodbye when they already cancelled it the day before, immediately after downgrading?

I genuinely don’t understand what purpose that serves. If someone has already made their decision, why add a farewell afterward?

Sometimes it makes me wonder whether silence is so difficult to accept. I’ve been quiet for a few months because I desperately needed time for myself, not because I stopped caring. Yet it often feels as though, as long as I’m present and responding, people support me—but the moment I step back to take care of myself, they’re ready to walk away.

Perhaps that’s simply the nature of these spaces. Even so, I don’t think anyone should have to apologize for needing time to heal, breathe, or find themselves again.

In most cases, it’s just because you’re nothing but an object to them—just merchandise in a business. As long as you deliver, the business keeps running. They don’t see you as a human being. They just check out all the naked collections and leave. A few months later, they come back and do the exact same thing, just to keep it as cheap as possible. That’s the reality 90% of the time. Harsh but true. The remaining 10% are split into two other groups, but I don’t even want to get into that.
