Brilliant idea with the lemon 🍋 😂. Full moon's just around the corner. Yeah, it really does look super pretty 🌝🌚

Congratulations! finally you convinced yourself to read your work. please don;t take offense but, though the poem is a glam (in the magic sense), the presentation was awkward and ineffective - there was so much going on, including the 2 winsome intros with lemon (very sensual connection) that the poem became only a competing element in an unsteady product. You must be louder, not by shouting, by (1) recording indoors behind a closed door, and (2) MOUTHING THE MICROPHONE - all successfull audio creators on the web put their lips within an inch of the mike (of course you need this as separate gear.) It also occurs to me - if you speak more confidently in Spanish, record in that language. If you can't find a willing Spanish ear yet, have the video show the text of the poem in another target language in sections, and read the corresponding lines of it in Spanish in between those texts. But, that aside - The focus of a reading, video or live, should be only on 3 things: the sound of your voice, with no difficulty making out each word; your face, with yours FIXED on either the text or the people rou're reading to, but not both; and, as a result, the poem. The listeners should be subject to sensory deprivation apart from these three things, forming briefly a complete small world of its own. Also: -Rather than read your latest and thus most temporarily exciting poem, read what might be your best, most disturbing poem, one that violates expectation at some point. -Consider memorizing your poem before reciting, even if you will have the text as a prop. -If reading to recite, make sure the text is fixed solid in one easy-to-read spot - not fluttering in the breeze! -Don't think of anyone's reactions to your words while reciting; this causes your gaze to cut back and forth to the camera lens. On the other hand, if you want to memorize and engage listeners personally, you would stare at the camera lens throughout, no particular expression, not moving except to blink. -Just before starting, don't smile self-deprecatingly. You definitely look like someone out of whose mouth interesting poetry might emerge. Instead, try to give the impression that you're wrapping a tour where you've just recited this thing 47 times.

Thank you so much. I genuinely love your ideas, and I think you’re absolutely right about everything you said. These videos were honestly a mess. I simply wanted to make a experiment and finally gather the courage to read one of my poems aloud… Reading poetry is a completely different art. I made several mistakes, but it was getting dark, it was dinner time, and I rushed. Haha. I really like your suggestion. I’m thinking that once the whole poetry collection is finished, I could dedicate proper time to creating something worthy of it… One idea would be to memorise every poem in both English and Spanish and then work on twenty carefully crafted performance pieces, almost like short films. It would be amazing even record the voice professionally in a recording studio and build each piece around it. And yes… improving my English is definitely part of the plan too. Thank you for every single piece of advice. I’ll think carefully about all of it 🤲🏻

Hahah yes! Although I didn’t do it on purpose, ever since I had that stomach issue I’ve been drinking lemon water, and it’s been working wonders! And yes… it’s not even a full moon yet. I have no idea why I said it was a full moon in one of the videos. I’m absent-minded for some reason…
