Sketch Roundup: January (Patreon)

Just a quickie. This shiny rubber batwing egg. Another idea that flashed through my mind. In a world when humans level up, they sprout wings that rapidly grow out and wrap around them, cocooning them. It quickly hardens into a shell. They spend a few weeks sleeping inside their shell while they level up. They may or may not transform. They might partially transform. They might just get features that match their chosen species/beast magic. The wings could be bat-like, feathered, scaly, web-like boneless. Anything really, they just start out wing shaped.

Before it became a commission, I did a test drawing of the characters for the Shared Halo idea. The devil would have originally been female, and both adults.

Here's a quick bonus drawing follow up. Marc continues to wash away his demon form in heaven, fully transforming into an angel, and he even got his angel wings. (He must have graduated.) He seems to have kept his horns though.

Decided to round up a bunch more abandoned wip sketches. Added a little shading and dropped in the file names of each scribble.
