Today I complete pages 1 and 2 of Issue three, and make a start on pages 3 and 4. I work on 2 pages at once, for many reasons, like consistancy, plotting the scenes out, but also keeps me working longer to get the 2 pages completed in a timely manner rather than feeling satisfied with what I've done on one. To explain this, I split what I do into 5 sections, and I aim to complete a section in a day, sometimes I do more. These are,

1. Plotting the scenes and layout.

2. Sketching.

3. Linework.

4. Colouring.

5. Shading.

In this way it usually takes me 5 days to complete 2 pages. Sometimes a few more if I have to work on commissions. Sometimes less if a page is particularly simple. And on both previous comics I tend to do crunch time in an effort to finish when I said I would. On issue 1, I recall doing the last 5 pages in just 7 days, and on issue two I did all the linework, colouring, and shading for the last 2 pages on the same day.

So, having said all that, I beleive I may well complete issue 3, 'A Strange Visitor' by the end of August.

In the meantime, I've just posted a couple more things below here, and no doubt there'll be more to come in the following weeks. Talk to you soon.
