Sketch Roundup: February (+ Ark update) (Patreon)

(I've been working on Ark issue 10, and I think I've got a little something to help flesh it out enough to make it a full and finished comic. I'm going to try and get it complete by the end of the month, but we'll see. It will be called 'One Fish, Two Fish' and I'm currently working on pages 9&10, with it probably going to be 14 to 16 pages in length.)

1. I've liked the idea of limblessness and conjoinment for a while, So I just felt like joining a friends characters Jeowed and Hairin. Taliza probably shouldn't be speaking allowed magic spells from a book. Jeowed seems to like getting closer with her brother, but Hairin isn't quite so sure.

2. Immediately after drawing that, I then came up with this. Taliza's second mistake was taking them to a "Doctor Calico" to get them fixed. After a while with them whilst Taliza waited at the reception, Calico returned by himself. "I've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that they're no longer joined together." Cal then fished in his lab coat pocket and pulled out two items. "The bad news is that they're now wooden keyrings."

3. Rough sketch of cancelled commission. Guy finds a pedestal that with writing that reads 'whoever shall stand upon this pedestal shall turn into a STONE BALLERINA' Yeah right, he thought, and tempted fate. Afterwards, all but 'Stone Ballerina' disappeared from the pedestal.

4. It's Neru's turn... for a 'change' with the pearl. Looks like she's caught a very special friend. I decided to sketch this from one of the transformation suggestions I asked for in the Discord server.
