Sketch Roundup: April (Patreon)

(I have started work on the first 3 pages of Ark issue 11, and I'll be posting some preview pages at the end of this month.)

1. I wanted to see Radical Edward from Cowboy Bebop, as a mermaid, so I sketched these, in consideration of doing one of them properly. I did not come up with these poses, I literally nicked them from other merfolk illustrations I have faved.

2. Sketched some octomer and a crab-person in preparation for 3 of the 'Ark: Fish Food' pages.

3. Milk Scoop. Milk is undercover as ice-cream. I don't think he's fooling anyone.

4. I had a dream in this month, of this guy. I thought he looked cool, so I had to draw him. He started out as human, and his job was to capture/extinguish these blue glowy spirits by absorbing them. Over time it began to change him and the more spirits he absorbed, the more of these long, flat fins would grow on his body.
