Sketch Roundup: January (Patreon)

1. In the ancestral clans of Rakuakatti, there was an old ritual called 'Hokshup ubmin onhodhe' which roughly translates to 'honourable becoming octopus'.  Honourable? yes. What at first looks like it would have been a punishment, was actually a position of high honour, only granted to the best hunter warrior. It is said that these clans were so fearsome, that the best were believed to have been unstoppable, and only that of the octopus could tame them, hence the ritual.  The tailfin was removed, and the tail split into several tentacle like parts along lines of muscle. Arms were also removed. Even after healing from the process, the warrior would still have been able to swim, and their sharp teeth deadly.  The top warriors would compete for the coveted and honoured title. Though this ritual and process may have only occurred once or twice in a generation.

2. Someone called my tail pudgy, then this happened. Now I'm floating around upside down because my tail won't deflate, which has me in stitches.

3. Inspired by a related conversation about a comm, Nick visits the wrong side of the reef.

4. Dia helps out, but Nick, doesn't learn. Which is why he'll always get himself stuck in things. I think she's going to leave him there, this time.

5. The inflation contagion spreads through the rest of my body. One of the more fun viruses, now I'm ready for the pool!

6. Nick loses the anchor on a sailing trip. But being told he'd be diving to retrieve it, was just a ploy.

7. Nick's new job as product tester at the Willy Wonka factory is going great!

8. Another complication for Nick, is the sudden gaseous expansion within his gummi body.

12. Rustled this up in a couple of hours. Time for Milk to shine and show us in motion, folding himself up for us. 

13. Transformed by the witch on Halloween. He gets away from the adults bickering about how much of a problem she is, and how much of an issue him looking like that is. 

14. ...'Hey!' She says, which makes him jump.  'Were you listening?' 'Just heard that last bit... Can I touch your skin?'  He raises an arm and she tentatively taps his forearm, then runs her fingers across it.  'Oh, it's not slimy at all.' 'What? Nah, it's just shiny, that's all.'
