Hello everyone!! ❤️‍🔥Thank you for being here for another month together!

We're starting this month with a couple WIPs already, I'm happy that as foretold my nearly-burnout down period is overcome and making art is making me excited again!!So let's start with what I have:

CALTEFI illustration, my first WuWa ship!! I started strong because this is already an obsession (will yap more in the art post)! I already have 3 more prompts I want to draw for them, one is a short comic but I was like "no Kira, not another comic straight after all the ones you did" (now read what the next WIP is 🤡)

PHAIDEI/MYPHAI comic! I'm finally drawing that prompt I've been proposing you for the past couple months, it's going to be 5 pages and I've sketched it all today so it's definitely going to happen soon! 🔥 I flooded the Discord chat with messy WIPs which I'll spare you but I'm likely going to have some lineart done in the upcoming days!

Besides these, it's up to us to decide!! You know my mind lately is revolving around Zhongzhu, Weltday, WrioNeuvi, GNR, Ifaron and now Caltefi... oh and I miss Zhonglette! If you want something different, be sure to let me know in the form so we can give space to those ships in the poll! 🫶

Also let me know in comments if you'd like me to change the monthly poll and how! I realize on one hand it's annoying that WrioNeuvi keeps winning, on the other hand it makes sense for me to satisfy the demands of my audience's majority. I always keep an eye on the poll, when I can I also draw the runners-up or the HSR winning choice, and I make sure there's ships variety (with a natural predilection for my personal faves) during the month... I thought of removing the previous month's poll's winner ship from the following month's poll (although I could still predict the results)? Removing all the ships drawn during the previous month from the poll? Alternating special/regular polls every other month? I'm listening!

Regarding the poll changes, while I do love Wriolette, I do wish to see more variation :D I've really enjoyed the idea of the special polls, bringing back to spotlight those less featured ships and characters. My personal input is probably that alternating special and regular polls is kind of the best of both worlds, it guarantees something for those who like Wriolette (because we all know it would win the regular poll anyway :D) and those who'd like to see something they haven't seen in a while.

I will scream Quincy X Olivine into the void until the void answers 🌈✨🌈🫦

Maybe you can consider adding some self-indulgent? What I mean with that is things YOU really wanna try and play with! Or original characters (if you have some you wanna share that is) Or maybe some sort of theme poll? Some dynamic or interest with surprise characters?

Basilisa

It's incredibly generous that you host and follow the polls so diligently. It's truly a huge gift from you every month! With that being said, you can either use them as more of a guideline than a strict plan for what to draw next. On the other hand, a "fixed" rotation of regular and special ships would be lovely as well, especially to remember some ship and save it for the next month to suggest! Also, occasionally excluding winner ships from time to time would definitely add some variety as well.

honestly no matter what you make i always get so happy seeing your art, its always so top quality!!

I definitely want one of the changes you listed implemented to the polls. As much as i love wrio/neuvi im often annoyed at the fact that it almost always wins and some of the fun other ships in the polls never get a chance. I feel like alternating between regular and special would solve this problem (i fear that removing last months winner will cause whatever the 2nd favorite ship to always win every other month and we'll just alternate two ships)

boofernoot

I actually quite like this idea. Maybe one month is dedicated to regular and the other to special. It would circulate things pretty well so everyone gets a chance!

I always sneak my self-indulgent art among other monthly posts, such as anything Heart of Stone related (and at the end of the day the AU characters are also the OCs I'm having fun with at the moment haha) 💜 I don't want to tie the personal, self-indulgent art to polls though, so it's going to stay something I draw only when I feel the right inspiration!

KiraShion

Yeah, I agree that out of all the possibilities, alternating special and regular polls is the most fair and would rebalance the chances for all ships pretty well!
