The results of the Monthly Art Raffle 14! (Pixiv Fanbox)

　第十四回アートラッフルの当選者様へのアートです！おめでとうございました！そして、長くお待たせしてしまってすみません。

　いただいたリクエストは、庶民の身分をもったadvanceaが、親交のあるfoxiaの貴族から宴会への招待を受けて参加する、という場面です。

Advanceaの基本的な服装はアップデート中ですが、おおよそのスタイルはこんな感じになるのではないかと思っています。

　生態学的なテンプレートに従って、私の世界でも若干、寒い土地の種族ほど色素が薄い設定になりそうです。そこで、今回はそれを利用することにしました。この貴族は北東に長く暮らす貴族であるという設定です。foxiaたちの国土の北東は内乱などの影響も少なく、foxiaたちの勢力圏でも比較的個性的な思想や行動がみられる土地として存在しています。もちろん、foxiaたちの中にはそれを快く思わないものもいると思いますが、貴族が他種族に寛大な性格であれば、その領地ではこのようなシーンも見られると思います。

　宴会という設定ではありましたが、服装に対するご希望があったことと、料理についてまだ考察が進んでいないので、立食中心の自由な祝いの場、のような感じで描かせていただきました。この会食のスタイルは、どちらかというと、デーン人に関する創作由来のイメージを多く含んだwolfiaたちの宴会のスタイルに近いですが、foxiaとwolfiaに文化的な共通点があるのは、後に物語で描く予定の設定とも一致するので、今のところ個人的にはありかなぁと思っています。

The request I received is for a scene in which Advancea, who holds the status of a commoner, is invited by a Foxia noble she is on friendly terms with, and attends the banquet.

Advancea’s basic clothing is currently being updated, but I think the overall style will end up looking something like this.

Following ecological templates, in my world as well it seems likely that races from colder regions will tend to have somewhat lighter pigmentation. I decided to make use of that this time. This noble is set as someone who has long lived in the northeast. The northeastern part of the Foxia lands has been relatively unaffected by internal conflicts and the like, and exists as a region within the Foxia sphere of influence where comparatively distinctive ideas and behaviors can be seen. Of course, I think there are some among the Foxia who do not look favorably on that, but if the noble is someone with a generous disposition toward other races, then scenes like this would also be seen in their territory.

Although it was set as a banquet, because there were specific requests regarding the clothing, and because I haven’t yet developed my thoughts on the cuisine very far, I had it depicted more in the style of a free-form celebratory gathering centered around standing and eating. This style of dining is somewhat closer to the banquet style of the Wolfia, which incorporates a fair amount of imagery derived from creations related to the Danes. That said, the existence of cultural commonalities between the Foxia and Wolfia is consistent with settings I plan to depict later in the story, so for the moment I personally feel it’s acceptable.
