Hellllooo I'm aliveeee TwT

It's been a pretty awful month getting really sick, but I'm mostly recovered now!

I wanted to finally go see the sakura blossoms this year but I ended up missing it again being sick haha maybe next year!!

That doesn't mean I can't draw a late spring illustration!

I drew the rough at the beginning of the month but I can finally set aside some time to work on it...I hope I can finish it soon haha

In other news, I'll be participating in IGX2026 this year too!

Welcome back Naguu Thank you for the illustration. I can't wait to see how it looks in the end and the timelapse of it if it isn't too late. Hope you feel better soon. With how crazy the weather changes have been, everybody I know has been getting sick too so drink plenty of water and get as much rest as you can. Good luck with IGX2026!!!!!!

Nagu-sensei,Hi, sad to read you where sick, good to read you are better, season change sickenss always suck (I always get sick wen autum start cause nights are more chill that before) and missing the blossom,what a boomer, but hey, you always have next year, maybe you can evade the sickness there......... Glad that you are feeling better sensei, maybe there are some late blooming sakura breeds that you can look around for. Nagu-sensei is aliveeee!! \(= w=)/ Fr tho, when hearing your announcement of having throat and ears infection, i was worried a lot, but i am glad that you're getting better!! (also don't forget to check to avoid the long-term effect tho.. (= w=)b. Even though this is still in sketching state, but for some reason, i really like the texture of the artwork you're making. The art feels like it's drawn with colored pencil, which really reminded me of the drawing you drew traditionally on paper back then. Plus don't know if it's just me, but the art of sakura feels like paper art (it's hard to describe, but something about the shading looks so cool!!) For some reason, there's a peaceful feeling while watching this (= w=)b The details are so cool too, from the sakura petals from her right eye, to glowing petals in front too!! By the way, it's that Macaron-chan in daily outfit? | w=)

I am so happy that you're still dedicated to your goal of building oc characters, and i'll always support you, so looking forward to see more from you, Nagu-sensei!! But don't push yourself too hard, and prioritize your health, as always!! The sakura moments in the artwork are always there and unchanged, regardless of the irl time, so take your time, and stay healthy💛💛 Speaking of the IGX2026, i'd like to make a confession (= w=)/ If there's something i remembered back in the IGX 2025, is that your artwork back then is the beginning of your whole new artstyle, in my opinion, which is the style of semi-realistic background. I mean i remembered you've been using that style many times, but for some reason, i think it's so special to me!! So looking forward to the IGX this year, and so excited with the style you're using this year, good luck, Nagu-sensei!!

Don't worry, i just recovered from the sickness last week, so logically i am good for a while (｡ゝᴗ•) Hope that next year you'll be able to watch the cherry blossoms, i believe!!(= w=)9 Also, just in case you need some cherry blossoms reference, i'd recommend an experimental film called "Cherry Blossoms" by Kyoko Michishita, it's a pure 15 minutes of all sakura shot beautifully on 16mm film (= w=)b Until that, take care, stay healthy and recover soon, and looking forward to your future projects!! P/s: On the side notes, the latest book you illustrated just arrived today, and i really like your artstyle in the book!!

Good to hear you are indeed alive!! Welcome back! Its honestly kinda sad that the Blossom is so short you can miss it while being sick with just the wrong timing... P/s 2: Nagu-sensei, I have been rambling my head and library to find the correct way i am seeing those cherry blossoms in background, and i have a clear reason why i love those so much. It was Andy Warhol, that shading style, it reminds me so much of the pop art shading technique from Andy Warhol (= w=)b i think that's why it's so mesmerizing for me to see, you have capture quite a surreal atmosphere of the artwork in my opinion, Nagu-sensei💛💛 Also, speaking of the you drawing on paper above, my memories suddenly hit back, you also drew some oc characters back then Nagu-sensei!! If anything lacking, then it might be the background story tho? But still, i always believe in you, Nagu!! In my opinion, from the outside, what looked like chasing shadows as you said two months ago looked like groundwork to me. Be confident in yourself, and do what you think is right (= w=)9 Whenever you feel in doubt, me, and also many other, are always here for you, to cherish the value you made!!

Spring comes every year, just gotta keep trying to make it out to see them, heh! I've been pretty lucky not getting sick in the bit of traveling I've done recently, glad you're mostly recovered!
