It's Julyyyy weee

Quickly throwing a WIP piece here!


Working on a really important personal project right now so hopefully I can share the news with everyone once things are more finalized!

It's been a very humbling experience along with me endlessly doubting myself (lol) but I really want to give it my best and pull it off...

I'm going to be diving deep into working on this along with commercial deadlines so I hope I can pull it off!!!

"Why yes, i am an white-haired anime girl enjoyer, how can you tell?" - Nagu-sensei (may be) (｡ゝᴗ•) It's actually interesting that after years of looking at your artworks, one of the mesmerizing things i can see and remember is that how much you drew character with white hair, it's actually so cool, what a way to start a day after waking up and see your post, yippy (= w=)b Anw so excited for this big project, Nagu-sensei!! It's curious for me to see how did this project humble you (my guess is either you do some new style or some narration/research for reference on a larger scale, but guess i'd have to wait to know, so excited ✨✨) I mean, tbh, when hearing you talk about doubting yourself, one thing actually popping into my mind (ahhh it's hard to put it into words.. soredemo!!)...

Like when you are redrawing "Planetes" after 13 years, or when looking at your AoT prints back from the first time you were in AX with the one in IGX/XART or "Landscape of Emotion" now, style of art is something i can see that changed, not in a good or bad way, cause it's subjective, but in a way you can express your ideas better from your POV. And i am sure things like that won't be like today and will stay stagnant if there's not a bit of doubting yourself, and scrutinizing your art a bit and developing the skill you need to improve to the level you want!! If there's anything, then trust the process, believe in me who believe in you!! (= w=)b May be questioning and critical about the method you're drawing, but never about the value of who you are, Nagu-sensei!! I think it's not about "I will do my best to make everyone proud!!" like you said, but more like "everyone proud because Nagu-sensei does her best", at least from my eyes. I am always proud of you, Nagu-sensei!!

Dont forget to take care of yourself, have enough sleep, food and prioritize your health, cause balancing between irl deadlines and personal projects seems a lot, and any short-termed pushing yourself too much can cause some long term effect (O xO) One more thing at the end, i've been rereading the compliation of Van Gogh's letter, and found this interesting part, so i want to share to you!! It's a bit long, so this will be in the next one.. (= w=)b
