A rural village where old customs still linger.

Hyūga had come here that day to investigate a certain incident.

But what awaited her—as she was eager to solve the case—was a battle against terror.

“No... don't come...”

The mysterious disappearances occurring in this village were the result of an ancient ritual passed down through the generations.

Upon learning the truth behind the incidents, Hinata was captured by the ringleaders and sacrificed as a human offering in a swamp deep in the mountains—a place teeming with countless snakes—to silence her.

Snakes emerged from a hole in the cliff behind her, slithering through the mud to coil around her body.

For Hinata, who has the blood of a demon cat running through her veins, snakes are her natural enemies.

Compounding her latent fear, she was restrained by the white giant serpent—the master of the snakes—and bitten by a venomous snake, leaving her too weak to move.

“I… I can’t breathe…”

Will Hinata, too, become another victim of this ritual…?

This time, it’s Detective-chan—aka Hinata—in a swamp × snake scenario.

Snakes are scary creatures, but I really like situations where they inject venom or wrap themselves around you, slowly sapping your strength.

I plan to have Hinata play with snakes a lot more from now on (merciless).

The next post is scheduled for the day after tomorrow.

See you then.
