Loved to re-watch this with you! Definitely one of the strongest Line Ups, if not THE strongest for me. I was so excited when Suzanne was announced as a battle guest back in, what, March? I knew she'd do well, and then I saw the brackets for Top 16 and cried because it was against Danzel, my personal favorite waacker. I was gonna be devastated whoever won that one. But man, seeing on my IG the results on the day of the finals, that Suzanne actually won, made me sob in joy. A couple of notes as I was watching: - The competition takes place over 4 days. Prelims are on Thursday, Top 16 is on Friday, Top 8 on Saturday, and then Judge Showcases, Semis and Finals are on Sunday. That's why you see so many outfit changes. The order each day is Popping -> Hip Hop -> Locking -> Waacking -> Open Style. You might see people wearing the same outfits if they compete in multiple battles. - Waackxxxy reviews Marid vs Yoonji and Danzel vs Suzanne rounds. She got voice interviews with Marid, Yoonji, and Wizzard, who explains his vote. She also talks about the tie-breaker round between Danzel and Suzanne which might shed light on why Suzanne won it. You should watch it! She also has a video for Top 16 in Hip Hop with 5000 and Rhyver (DJ & Judge, respectively) who also talk about some of the rounds that happened on the Hip Hop side. - My top 3 battles were: Marid vs Yoonji, Suzanne vs Anushi, and the finals. I wholeheartedly agree with you about Suzanne in the finals - I love Marid, but Suzanne just floored me with her approach. It was very close, I love both of their rounds, but there was no doubt in my mind who my winner was.
