Hi SRS, I know I ask this question every few months, but given Bryan Danielson referencing being “retired” during his All In commentary, is it time to close the door on a possible in-ring return/final match, or do you think he’ll eventually return to the ring?

No, I wouldn't rule that out. I think there's always a real possibility of him doing another match. I don't think that doing an 8 second match with Max Caster will be the last match he ever does. I never thought The Rock's last match would actually be the one against Erick Rowan, either.

Good morning, SRS. Any update when Buddy Matthews may be coming back to AEW?

Nobody I talked to this past week at All In knew specifically, but he is cleared. I thought there was a decent chance of him returning in the Casino Gauntlet, but it didn't happen.

I actually had to go back and check that it had actually been a year. He was backstage at AEW Dynamite in recent months, but I didn't hear specifically that he got cleared, but he is getting closer. He has effectively been out of action for two and a half years, which is kind of crazy. He won't need to film another American Gladiators season for a while because they filmed two seasons at a time.
