For those curious about the New Level timeline, they met with Tony Khan the week of August 20. They officially signed the day before All In.

WWE talent return to the road Sunday as a number of them travel to Birmingham, Alabama for WWE Raw, then to the South America tour.

We've not heard of any additional releases from WWE as of yet.

Regarding Tessa Blanchard's signing with MLW being shut down by CMLL, Tessa did participate in an interview with TMZ to promote the signing announcement.

Maggie Lee

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp spoke to Maggie Lee aka M By Elegance for a new interview ahead of TNA Bound for Glory next month.

We spoke about Shazza McKenzie being very early onboard the Maggie Lee hype train, saying that Maggie was a future WrestleMania main eventer upon wrestling her. She called wrestling Shazza in TNA a full circle moment, and has loved having Shazza around TNA of late.

She was brought in to TNA as Maggie Moore, because Maggie Lee was too similar to Lei Ying Lee, then that whole situation was rectified by becoming M by Elegance. She said that joining the Elegance Brand wasn't a plan from the start, but was really happy about how it all came together.

Maggie still wears volleyball-style kneepads, but they're just covered up a little more. She said that she doesn't wear the turtle shells because they're a sin in volleyball, so she stays away from that. She feels that being an athlete helped her transition to wrestling, but wants to learn to use her height more. She remembered working with Willow in AEW and said that realizing that she did all the same moves as Willow made her want to vary things up.

SRS' thoughts on the releases:

Hey guys, SRS here. I had a lot of you guys asking my thoughts on the WWE releases, which only extended to NXT/Evolve/ID talent. There were numerous main roster talent who had been concerned about main roster cuts.

With Wendy Choo, I honestly expected if anything, she would get a trial run on the main roster. She has worked with every gimmick they've thrown her way and done her best with them. She would honestly make a great coach/producer after her career is over. I expect TNA to get a look at her, and I know she has a lot of people in All Elite Wrestling that have always liked her.

There are a lot of these talent who simply won't continue wrestling. Most of them will be the Performance Center recruits. One could by Braxton Cole but I think there's some potential there. He had some good matches that had a lot of ingredients, and if he works on singles competition, he could turn into something. He could really stand out outside WWE with as big as he is.

Airica Demia aka Anya Rune is a great talent, still super young. Second generation wrestler. She's probably going to pass 100 matches this year. Handled the online abuse as well as possible, and is wise beyond her years. She has something different that makes her stand out. I can't speak highly enough of her attitude as well. She is full of personality, and is already heavily in demand on the indies.

Is the piece on Ciampa missing?

Looking at a few clips, if Anya Rune wanted to hit Japan she'd be hilarious in DDT, in terms of the western companies I agree TNA is about where she would fit best. Though AEW does have it's share of weird characters like OC and Toni Storm.
