When a company films a promo in the public, is there some kind of protocol how it goes down (like getting permission from authorities in special places and instructing people passing by) or is it just lights, camera, action and they just film how many takes they need?

Well, there are supposed to be permits and the like, but sometimes you just film what you can. I haven't heard of wrestling companies that always get releases and waivers, and I know ECW certainly didn't! However, a lot of it is just getting what you can while you're able. There's definitely exceptions for trespassing, although that hasn't always been exempt, either.

Hey SRS. Why do you think Wendy Choo was not given a proper chance to be on the main roster of WWE?

I actually think Wendy Choo (the sleepy version) would have made a great tag team character in WWE on the main roster. They obviously liked her in NXT because she was there for over 7 years and got a lot of gimmick changes. I wouldn't say a lot of opportunities, because sometimes the gimmicks sucked or they gave up on them, but she was there a while. Wendy will be fine. She's a brilliant woman with unmatched familiarity of WWE's developmental system. I'd be surprised if she didn't coach one day

What is the last match you marked out for? For me it was Chelsea winning at Summerslam.

Darby Allin vs. Kevin Knight. All due respect to those two, it wasn't because of them. Sting was on the screen the first time I ever saw pro wrestling. His son Steven played college football in my city and has been really good to Fightful, even accepting a Fightful Award for AEW Revolution 2024. Sting is an all-time favorite, so the torch passing moment was incredibly cool. Chelsea winning at Summerslam was also a big one for me, because of how great she and Matt Cardona have been to us over the years.

Do you think WWE ever has a draft again

Yeah I think they will. They didn't have any this year or last year, but I think as numbers dwindle, they will probably end up doing one next year. That's a hunch, not a report. I don't think they would do it here this late in the year, but next year they'll have some good will to rebuild with WrestleMania being in Saudi Arabia. So a way to get some general interest built up after a lot of fans will be frustrated about Mania not being in the States.
