According to a source in creative, some future plans may have been rearranged following the feedback coming out of the Monday Night Raw in Mexico City. That show was headlined by Penta challenging Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

At the time of the matchup, it was relayed to WrestleVotes on Fightful Select that many within creative viewed it as a one-and-done. That may have changed within the last week.

WrestleVotes has been told that several within WWE creative now believe a rematch between Penta and Reigns makes sense, both from a business and creative standpoint. Those in creative also pointed to Penta as a heavy favorite to win the men's Money in the Bank Ladder match, which could play a role in a potential rematch with Reigns. As of SummerSlam 2026, that was not the plan heading into Money in the Bank.WrestleVotes on Fightful Select has been told that several people within WWE who regularly travel to Saudi Arabia for the company's events have been asking internally whether there will be any changes, revisions, or potential rescheduling of Crown Jewel on November 7th in Riyadh, given the ongoing conflicts and the uncertain nature of the travel.

We're told that the chatter backstage and within WWE Headquarters in Stamford is one of large concern. As of this writing, per a source, WWE has yet to formally acknowledge the situation to its staff.WrestleVotes was told by members of the production staff that WWE is in the process of replacing its current fleet of television production trucks after more than a decade of use.WWE is set to begin using three new mobile units, which travel from city to city each week and will serve as the 'nerve center' for the entire broadcast. Everything from camera shots, replays, graphics, entrance videos, and more will come together from inside the vehicles. We're told the units are being produced and manufactured by N.E.P. Integration in Pennsylvania. As for the price tag, we're told each unit could cost upward of $12-$15 million per truck.

There’s that clip of Heyman talking about Penta on Unreal saying they had something special in him and they need to work on maximizing that. Reminds me of that. I hope that’s where it’s heading.

"WWE has yet to formally acknowledge the situation to its staff." In other words, we're going to ignore everything and go anyways because we love that sweet sweet Saudi blood money!

Maybe WWE finally has the lucha replacement for Rey they've been looking for for years in Penta?
