Update on several speculated AEW talent (Patreon)

We have updates on two wrestlers who have been expected in All Elite Wrestling.

Fightful Select reported recently that Dani Luna had interest from AEW after leaving TNA Wrestling. We’ve since confirmed that Luna has joined AEW, and is expected to debut fairly soon as things stand. Luna agreed to join AEW well over a month ago as best we understand.

Not so imminently would be Kairi. She’s been a free agent for quite some time and has had conversations with AEW, Stardom and other wrestling companies. However, it was confirmed to us by AEW sources as of Friday, Kairi was not signed and not planned for AEW All Out. One source said it would be nearly legally impossible for her to appear at AEW All Out as things stand, but that conversations are ongoing and AEW does maintain interest in her. It’s expected she would be on a dual contract if the deal does occur.

For those expecting Sheamus to appear at AEW All Out, he’s still technically under WWE contract. He’s not available contractually until next week and we’ve not yet heard of conversations between the two sides yet.

Wrestling Observer also updated the status of Maya World, saying they expect her out for at least a couple of months. Fightful Select revealed that she underwent a procedure recently that wasn’t related to any in-ring injury.
