Details on WrestleMania, Crown Jewel, Saudi-WWE Plans (Patreon)

It’s full speed ahead for WrestleMania 2027 in Saudi Arabia. Fightful Select was told by sources familiar with the Saudi side of things that they want to make it as big as possible from their end. Saudi representatives were at WWE HQ a couple of weeks ago for kick off meetings for the event.

In addition we’re told that the site build for WWE Crown Jewel starts this week in Riyadh. The event takes place November 7 at Riyadh Seasonal Stadium which is a temporary outdoor stadium. Sources that we spoke to say that the hope is that the WrestleMania date will be announced around that event, if it hasn’t been announced officially by then already. A WWE source that we spoke to did say that WrestleMania being in conjunction with Saudi Arabia is why the date was announced so late.

There are understandably a number of independent wrestling companies who are still awaiting the date reveal for WrestleMania, as they’re seeing if there are any other events that take advantage of the weekend not being in the United States.
