WWE ID Departure
A WWE ID departure has been confirmed.
Last month, Jimmy House announced he would be going by his independent name again after becoming CJ Valor on WWE Evolve. House confirmed to Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp that he was released by WWE from the ID program. He spoke very highly of his time there, and learning from Sean Waltman specifically. He also mentioned how important Gabe Sapolsky's guidance and advice was in getting signed.
Fightful has a full interview with him dropping this week.
Jordynne Grace
Jordynne Grace has been back in the news, as Wrestlevotes Live on Fightful Select was aggregated saying she wasn't in WWE's creative plans. It should be noted, that was specifically as far as they had heard. There were, however, tentative creative plans as recently as early September. The working plan at the time was to start teasing Jordynne Grace and Ivy Nile as a tag team later that month, with vignettes that they'd already filmed a while back.
Ivy Nile's contract was set to expire at the start of October, but she remains on the WWE roster page, and competed on NXT a few weeks ago.
Conrad
In addition, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp spoke to Conrad Thompson today, as he's selling his 1980s Intercontinental Title in what could be a record haul. You can learn more at WrestleManiaBelt.com.
He also recounted a story about Warrior trying to sell him his yellow Intercontinental title, only to find out Warrior had actually already sold it.
He said his holy grail is ring worn Winged Eagle title belts, but they're very hard to find. He had the opportunity to buy the Hulk Hogan boots a couple of years ago that went for over $1 million this year, and unfortunately passed on them.
As far as podcasts, we spoke about Joey Styles and it was noted that Sean Ross Sapp had spoken to Joey earlier this year. Styles said he would end up doing an ECW podcast, but wanted the timing to be right, and didn't want to risk his day job because of fans being angry over something he said on the show. Conrad keeps in touch with him and the conversation eventually comes back to a potential podcast. Conrad said that Paul Heyman and Michael Hayes are ideal podcast co-hosts he'd want in the future as well.
