Whats the status of Omega ? Would love for him to be on tv more. Happy he gets to do everything he wants with gaming and NJPW. I hope something plays out with Elite & New Level/Swerve

Kenny Omega is very realistic about his status and has been for a few years. I think his own mortality came into focus with diverticulitis. I'm not sure he would ever let it be known, but the guy is almost always hurting, and matches are a lot of recovery for him. He is constantly fighting through pain to do almost anything.

Any chance AEW will change the start time of Full Gear since there is a big UFC that night in MSG.

AEW does not give a shit about what time the UFC show is. If it were a WWE show, yes, there would be a chance because of corporate synergy. I was disappointed that the earlier start times didn't stick, and was hoping to ask Tony Khan about it on the media call, but unfortunately didn't get called on this time.

Why did The Rock wear the black tracksuit in his matches with Mick Foley in 1999? Thanks!

The story is that went around at the time is that he underwent a pectoral/lipo surgery and was recovering from it. It was such a short period, but such an important period, that the look has kind of lived on after all this time.

Any timeframe when AEW could announce what their Mania weekend plans are?

I would expect it would be after WWE announces theirs. This is a hunch, not a report, but I expect that WWE will announce theirs by the week of Crown Jewel. This is the latest they've ever waited. But still, AEW has an idea of what they can do, where they can do it, and what their plans will be if they have any. It's been a discussion since the SaudiMania shows were announced.

What was the biggest waste of a royal rumble in your opinion?

Royal Rumble 1999. Just a stupid, waste of time. Guys can just enter 1 and 2, spend the entire match outside the ring, come back and be the last two? Nobody else lasted even 19 minutes. Big Bossman was the actual, in-ring iron man. Mabel was the guy who they tried to get over with the most eliminations, then they had him illegally eliminated. Nothing mattered. No rules enforced or cared about. It at least set up Vince McMahon vs. Steve Austin for Massacre, which was a big match, but they could have done it a different way.

On one of the humps recently I believe you said you don't think triple H cares to go head to head with AEW why do you think that

I don't think he personally cares as much as the people above him do. Maybe I'm wrong, because there are definitely some petty things he's directed. I just think that TKO seems to care a lot more than him.
