My boy Soldat, what a gigachad. Helping a struggling man and, on top of all, being able to change his preconceptions about someone after seeing what that person's really about. Also, about Eris, you said we don't know what she thought and that she simply went for a fun adventure in search for independence from Rudeus, but I think it's not a good interpretation. She went on a journey after a traumatic near-death experience to gain enough power to protect Rudy in case he comes to another showdown with the Dragon God Orsted. Her search for power will result in some level of independence, obviously, but the intention is completely different and way more coherent with her character, just as much as her shyte communication skills (worst word choice ever in that letter, damn...), so in character and also so painful... It really was an unfortunate situation, I'm not angry with her at all, I'm more angry at the author that made her like that, eheh...

With the regards of friends and family... yeah, Rudeus hasn't even seen any of the people he's close to since Eris left him on that note... both Roxy (through her lustful friend) and Sylphiette getting closer and closer to finding him is surely gonna help there, I imagine.

I find it almost poetic justice that Rudy is “afflicted” with this problem. The man who was almost always too horny now can’t even get horny… it’s sad don’t get me wrong, but with the hindsight we have I can’t help but think it’s a little funny that it happened to him.
