The reasons Bell's stats are lower is due to the way the level system works in the world. Reseting the stats upon level up. Once you are finished with Season 2 I highly recommend watching Aninews' power system video titled: " Bell's Power & Stats Explained! How Does Levelling Work in DanMachi?" There are a few background scenes from the Sword Princess OVA but other than that everything else in it has been seen.

10:20 I just realized...like 95% of the characters in this episode are prostitutes. While I am all for legitimate sex work, I just don't recall watching any other anime that showcased so many whores, so to speak. I've seen one or two in an episode or two, like in Mushoku Tensei, Assassin Aristocrat, Death March, Tsukimichi, and a few others, but I suppose the bit of having an entire enemy organization which earns a living thru sex work really let the author hang it all out there. I'd love to see more series earnestly handle sex workers as active characters. I was once a bodyguard for an "escort" lady and her friends, and hookers can be very interesting and vivid people.

Yes, I found that in many ancient faiths and cultures, the prostitutes could be pillars of the church, to borrow Istar's wording. As someone who realized that I was a Pagan back as a teenager, I went hard on researching the unfathomable kaleidoscope of faiths and spiritual practices in our history, and reading about Greece, Mesopotamia, and Canaanite fertility-based worshippers, not to mention indigenous pagan, animist, and polytheist cults and traditions, using sex as rites of devotion and worship. I also see concentual, intentional acts of sex as devotion to the Goddess I honour in my home. That research is why I giggle at the silliness of people who outright villainize sex work these days. It also makes this anime about actual deities living with mortals, and there being an established "Pleasure Quarter" getting focus, quite stimulating.

I am with ya on communicating with the Familia. Just the point of trying all of this on his own is HIGHLY dangerous and stupid. Unfortunately, he would have been too late if he had done that. That doesn't change the correct method. If he had Hestia and Co. waiting to back him up, the chances of victory go waaaaay up.

Oh yeah... the ability Ishtar uncovered here on Bell is the one Hestia hid away from him from when he got it at the beginning of S1 to even now still, yeah?
