ok this is spookie as f how come it keeps going out of sink my video getting ahead of your video there must be a difference between british and american ghostbusters and its getting on my spooking nerves is this edited for youtube or is it the full i dont get how it could be lagging il put this on the youtube aswel

MaplenutsReact

Oh no, that's very weird! This one is definitely the unedited full-length version. We haven't had anyone else mention it being out of sync yet, so you might be right that the British version is different?

scott osborne

its what i was thinking that there could be words that was cut from the american version its the only thing i can think of with the lag out of sink like they did with harry potter original british and american versions

MaplenutsReact

Right, that makes sense. I always just assumed they would be the same everywhere, but I guess there are sometimes changes made!

scott osborne

i always thought that ghostbusters would have been the same since it was from the 80s and the changes wouldn't have come along till the 2000s or late 90s

Happy to see another Ghostbusters fan! Been a fan since I was a child and played "Ghostbusters" on the playground at school lol.I even bought a Ghostbusters costume to wear to work a couple years ago :) Some trivia: Sigourney Weaver floating is an actual physical effect. The actress was put in a full body cast and attached to a post hidden in the curtains. According to the DVD commentary, the effect came from Ivan Reitman's Broadway experience. The Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man suits cost approximately $20,000 each. Three were made, and all were destroyed during filming. The rooftop set for the final confrontation between Gozer and the Ghostbusters occupied an entire soundstage, and required 50,000 amps of electricity to be properly lit. Columbia Pictures had to shut down other stages while this scene was being filmed. The proton packs were much heavier than they looked. Some were heavier than others, depending on what a scene demanded. According to Ivan Reitman, none of the actors enjoyed wearing the packs, and while he said that Harold Ramis complained the least, he wouldn't say which actor complained the most. However, he did strongly imply it was Bill Murray.

Whoa, all of this trivia is wild! Also, I love that you have a costume! That's still one of Jordan's life goals haha.

Wade Wallenstein

The funniest part about the costume is that it has an inflatable proton pack :)

MaplenutsReact

That's so fun! Sounds like it's a lot lighter than the real thing then haha

Noah Vogt

Such a fun film for all ages. Jordan is right, so many quotable lines. I'm sure you've both seen it, but in the off chance you haven't, Beetlejuice is a nice compliment to this film.

MaplenutsReact

I'm not sure if Jordan has seen it, but I haven't! I know there's a new one coming out soon, so I really want to watch the original first!

Caradoc Elmet

Sigourney Weaver is in Galaxy Quest alongside Tom Allen, Alan Rickman, Tony Shaloub, Sam Rockwell and the rest. It's a great cast and a really great movie. It has been called a perfect movie by several famous directors and is studied in American film schools. I recommend it 100% for whatever that's worth.

MaplenutsReact

Oh wow, I had no idea! Perhaps we'll throw that one on a poll!

This was a fun reaction. This movie is in my top ten

MaplenutsReact

I liked part 2, and I don't think I'm alone, but you should explore Bill Murray's movies. Three that come to mind are Stripes (1981), What about Bob (1991), and Ground Hog Day (1993). They are all comedies, and if you could only do one, I would have to pick Ground Hog Day.
