N.T. Stars

I've always seen Game of Thrones as a chess game between Littlefinger and Varys. With Littlefinger gone, I'd definitely bet on Varys to see his vision through to the end. If he's turned on Daenerys, I'd say she's toast (if Tyrion doesn't interfere. He has split loyalties now).

This episode holds the greatest mystery of GoT ... To who did the Styrofoam Coffee cup from Starbucks in front of Daenarys belong? Also notice during the drinking game Podrick drank after one of the revealing questions :)

Hmm. Always frustrated by the way they kill Rhaegal. Two perfect shots at such a distance with such a weapon... Plus of course I didn't want him to die...

Jon doesn't even pet Ghost and say goodbye before leaving him... Is it too late for the Lord of Light to take him back? 😡

Jaime has always said from day one he wanted to die next to Cersei the love of his life.

Wait... There was a coffee cup? Haha, we definitely missed that.

I know, so cold :( I know he's a busy man, but Ghost has been there by his side through everything!

Love makes people do crazy things.Right or wrong.

both Dragons, Jorah and now Missandei, plus Jon's secret and how everyone loves him...Dany is not in a good place...

This episode is where I stop believing what happens is what the author intended. Watching along just to see your guys take. In my head canon, the last episode of this series ends with Arya killing the Night King. ETA: my head canon also includes the burning of the bodies and Jon’s speech at the beginning, and Lord Gendry Baratheon.

It’s been edited out since, so you didn’t miss it, but when this episode aired live, yes Dany had a Starbucks cup next to her. Kind of shows you where the directors minds were.

I think we benefit having waited to watch this series... We're going in with no expectations, so it sounds like we liked this final season a lot more than most people!

I’m really glad you did. I followed another reactor last year and he loved the ending. I guess when watching it as it aired, there was such a big wait between seasons 7&8 and I think a lot of viewers got hyped up for Dany and Jon to team up and kill the white walkers and kill Cersei and live happily ever after. 🙂 But this also reminds me of something Ramsay said when he was torturing Theon… “if you think this has a happy ending you haven’t been paying attention.” 😄
