Better Call Saul: S3, Episode 1 (Mabel) - Patreon Version

N.T. Stars

I listened to the audiobook of Bob Odenkirk's memoir a few years ago (totally recommended if you want 7 hours of his voice!) and he said that season 3 of Better Call Saul is the very first time in his career that he took dramatic acting seriously. He spent decades trying to make people laugh, but starting with this season, he wanted to make them cry, too. It's a subtle switch, but it's noticeable and definitely changes the show.

It shows, he's so good at captivating you with his subtle looks. I bet that's a really great memoir actually!

One of the joys of watching this show is just watching Mike do stuff (stakeouts, take apart cars, mess with batteries, etc.). A whole lot of that this episode!

Hahaha it's so true! Anything Mike does is satisfying to watch, because he does it so damn well
