Evening Everyone ❤️Last's week's poll winner was 12 Monkeys! This one has been recommended by you fine folks so many times now, so we're both super excited to see it! For this week's poll we're hoping you can help us pick which war movie to watch next! We've heard all of these are really good, so we'll be happy no matter what wins 😊

If Inglourious Basterds loses, I'll riot! Just in my living room though. And I don't want to break anything. So I'll probably just crumble up junk mail and throw it in the trash. But I'll be SO ANGRY while I do so.

Patrick R.

Good Morning, Vietnam has to happen regardless, I'd say. You guys were asking earlier about more Robin Williams movies that you should see, and GMV was one of his personal favourites and the big reason he could go on to do bigger movies.

Andrew R

Ugh Inglorious Bastards is going to win but it is less war movie and more drama set in wartime. Platoon or Good Morning should win.

IMO the best war film ever is ‘The Thin Red Line’ Masterpiece of filmmaking. Terrance Malick directs. Best picture Oscar nominated. Hans Zimmer soundtrack. Cast is phenomenal. It’s an atmosphere more than a narrative. Blows me away every time I watch it. 🍻

Not on your poll, but you might like: "Fury" (2014) "The Thin Red Line" (1998) "Kelly's Heroes" (1970) "Where Eagles Dare" (1968) "The Dirty Dozen" (1967) "The Great Escape" (1963) "Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb" (1964) "All Quiet on the Western Front" (1930) "Das Boot" (1981) "The Bridge on the River Kwai" (1957) "Glory" (1989) "Stalag 17" (1953)

Platoon got snubbed on a past poll of theirs...it's a shame because we should not see an Academy Award wining movie get shelved...twice in a poll.

Tommy

It's a lock. Ur Living room items are safe!

Tommy

IB of course.... Everyone want u guys to see that...but it should really be Platoon for a "War Movie"...IB should be in its own class.

mikethemotormouth

Robin Williams or Quentin Tarantino? Damn, that's a hard call

Abby

Never seen Bastards spelled that way. Adds a certain something to the word!! BasTERDS!! 😂

Anthony Donato

Hacksaw Ridge a true story that I think you'll never forget. Great movie directed by Mel Gibson.

Hans Engelen

Sorry guys I have to go Robin Williams ...

ShadowDrgn

I'm not a big war movie person myself, just don't really enjoy them. A few exceptions: Band of Brothers, Black Hawk Down. I'm going to get some hate for this but I found Inglorious Basterds to be one of thee most boring movies ever, minus the 15mins Brad Pitt and his team were shown, the rest was just utter boring. And I love ever other Tarantino movie

mikethemotormouth

That's the title of the 16 year old movie 🤷🏽‍♂️

mikethemotormouth

BoB is a miniseries Also weird because the opening scene and the tavern of Basterds are nothing but suspense and tension

Andrew R

Yep it's the only war movie I want them to see. But I wouldn't be that upset to see Robin Williams

penoyer79

how is Platoon not being voted on more? my goodness people. the only better war movie in the universe is Apocalypse Now. but seriously, all 4 of those are must-see

penoyer79

now i know why some of these polls are so upside down. ...boring... lol if i face palmed any harder i'd knock myself out.
