One of the best episodes of the show, IMO

I have to say that when Victor Creel turned to face the camera, I screamed "FREDDY!!! OMFG!!!". If you haven't seen A Nightmare On Elm Street, definitely put that on the reaction list. Robert Englund is a legend in horror and he cemented his role in history playing the knife-gloved dreamland killer. Love that the Duffer Brothers got him for a cameo. I'm both glad and perplexed that they didn't end the episode on a cliffhanger where you don't know if Max got out when the scene went black. That would have been both epic and maddening for viewers at the time. I know, I'm a sadist and should be working in Hollywood. 🤣

Sadie Sink/Max is soooo good this episode and season!

By some people DnD is still seen like that. I run a DnD program for people with disabilities to help them socialise and on a facebook post about it I had someone tell me I was being a bad influence on people by playing this sort of game.
