Way to end on a cliffhanger, huh? Ben Mendelsohn (Krennic) didn’t inform Denise Gough (Dedra) that he would be jamming his finger into the top of her head during the interrogation scene, so her shocked expression was genuine instead of rehearsed. Kleya most likely hasn’t slept since Lonni rang the “big bell”, or more than 24 hours. She’s not thinking clearly. She’s exhausted, in mourning and desperate to get the Death Star message out. And who shows up? The Messenger.

We had to wait 3 years between seasons 1 and 2. But each arc (1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12) was dropped one night each week. So in week 4 we had all 3 of the final episodes. Thank goodness all we had to do was press play on episode 12.

I imagine I won’t be the only one to say this but they actually released the season 2 episodes, 3 per week over 4 weeks. So we actually got episodes 10, 11, and 12 all at once so we didn’t have to wait. But yeah, 3 years between seasons 😐

So, about Luthen, and the need for 'new' leadership... I like to think of it like this: a team of workers, experts in their field, and a skilled talented lead contractor organizing and managing them all... Build a house. When it's built, the interior designers, landscapers, etc come along, and the construction workers and contractor are no longer needed. Eventually, the family moves in, and starts smaller diy projects, etc, but those builders are no longer needed, or welcome 😭

I am definitely biased, I own that, but, nothing has made me as passionate as Kleya in that scene with Melshi & Cassian except The Wire, True Detective, Chernobyl, and Andor... Like Kleya, I frustratingly urge, nay, DEMAND, people watch those 4 series. I am annoyingly passionate about good writing, acting, storytelling, etc. 🤣

The way this ended, I screamed a "OH FUCK YOU!" sooooo loud that I'm sure my neighbors heard it. So.... I'm treating this like a movie and watching the final one. Nope, nope, not gonna wait. NO! But I'll rewatch it with you guys next week. ❤️

I've been waiting for episode 12 ever since you started this series, But at the same time I am so sad it will be coming to an end. But I take solace in the hope that others will discover this series and I can experience it again with them. But your reactions are my favorite.
