There are soooo many things I want to say about this episode/MOVIE!, but I'll tryyyy very hard not to say too much, lest I spoil next season. First off, this is my fourth time watching the finale for S4, and I still cried my eyes out with Eddie's death scene. I cried again at Lucas holding Max, telling her to hang on for life. Watching this was still an exhausting rollercoaster. Oh, and yes, us metalheads around the world rejoiced having Master Of Puppets be the song Eddie plays (which, btw, Joseph Quinn IS a guitarist and learned that song because he didn't just want to mime it. Metallica loved that so much that they gifted him a Gibson Warlock signed by the band!). Some people had issue with this, because Eddie is seen with Iron Maiden patches and holding a tape of their music when he screamed "THIS IS MUSIC!!", but I say it makes sense because of the way Vecna stalks and kills; he pulls the strings of grief and trauma in people, and then when he does kill them they die like puppets being contorted on strings. Okaaaay, I rambled on too much. but I loved so much more in this episode. The mind battle, along with the other two battles going on, was just so epic! The acting was amazing... i'm just spent now.
