1. I'M WITH YOU ABOUT THE DARK CIRCLES, I'm writing this whole story as a way to cope and accept mine okay, leave me alone *cries in the dark 2. About the blood... 👿 You'll see! Thank you for always noticing the little hints/details I drop, tho! 3. Ermes won't disappoint us 🧡 Can't wait to post the next chap with their actual first meeting!!

Whew!! Waaa! Gahh!! 🤣❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 (so excited!!)

Wow! (again, any questions are just speculating/questions to self, don't answer! 😁) ...but Wow, Aira! that's lovely... Ermes *clearly* doesn't like the family business, and loathes that it is also the support for the lifestyle he admittedly likes... I like (but like Ermes, dislike) the way the vamps are referred to as "pieces under auction" - a dehumanizing way of making people (Ermes clearly still thinks of them as *people* - he's in a minority) into things one can own. It's not slavery if it's not a person. Dario being hunched over and sad (and Ermes speculating at the existence of unshed tears) at the turn his life has taken - being a vampire was one thing when free, but now... he knows what results from the way today was supposed to go. Being a fighter meant that at least his "life" was his own, but now... Better to be thought of as "Feral" and be freed of all this. But someone in the audience is about to make his life take a different turn i'm thinking... and his family/society may not be pleased...

OMG PETERRRR thank you for such a long comment!! I've reread it several times today 🥺💘 Ermes is... an insufferable snob... I hate him....... but he's trying his best and he's so much fun to write! You'll see what I mean with the next chapter 😂 Also, I'm really happy that Dario's introduction resonated with you! That's exactly what he was thinking, poor baby 🤧 And I'm glad you're liking my take on this society, so far 👀 Can't wait to hear your opinion on what's coming next! 🙏💖

Thank you so much! I was a bit worried about this first chapter since it's (indeed) the setup of everything that will unfold. I'm glad ya liked it, tho! 🥰🙏

I’m so late to read this because I wanted to make sure I could focus and write a thoughtful comment. I love your creativity Aira! I really felt for both Ermes and Dario. Ermes who wants nothing to do with his family name and feeling gross just being in the place yet entranced by Dario who also is in an unfavorable position. You did a beautiful job of setting the scene. Will Ermes use his place of power to “rescue” the poor vampire?? Will Dario ever see Ermes as anything more than a person of power and privilege who just wants to own him?? Can’t wait to read the next chapters! Running to read them now 🏃🏻‍♀️

Thank you for finding time to read and leave such a nice comment 😭😭 I'm so happy you're liking this so far! The beginning/setting is one of the hardest part, and I'm glad I was able to make you connect to my boys 🥺 Thanks a lot again!! Can't wait to know how you'll feel about their actually first meeting in the second chap 👀💘
