Ok thank you for all the One Piece points bc as an Old Hag on the internet I do NOT understand all the hype. Even as a kid the hyper sexualization made me feel Weird and now as an adult I'm like AH I SEE. Everyone's like "oh it's SOOOO good" and im like "if your story needs 80000 episodes to tell, it better be, like, the actual fucking Odyssey by Homer. And it's not"

Let's also direct the acting to be stilted and awkward and just noticeably worse in general for some reason, completely not taking advantage of the subtlety you can get from live action acting in such a retelling! It's brilliant I tell you!

Also. I was a Jewelry Bonney fan cuz I like stealthy characters who collect info on the low (like Sanji) and found her fun out of The Worst Generation (at last during Sabaody. It was cool seeing more of Bege during Whole Cake Island) Meanwhile I'm surrounded by gooners who were either delighted or heartbroken to learn she's actually 12.

I have never enjoyed a live action adaptation. Anime/fiction isnt *real*. Trying to make it so makes everything look goofy and disproportionate
