A softer rendition of the song Golden Arrows from the Fangs! album. This is one of my all-time favorite songs to record in the studio and play live. In this reimagining, I tracked it on my piano with microphone placements closest to the felt and through a Lauten Audio FC-357 mic with the condenser flipped to only the forward-facing side as opposed to figure eight. I wanted a muted sound to dominate it since the original recording was centered around warmth. I hope you enjoy!

Amazing! So surreal to hear this!

Adam Sullivan

Loving this. As with everything else created!

So are the future reimagined songs going to be soft like this or will they each carry their own styling?

Jessy Ribordy

They’re each going to be their own styling, but they already exist as heavy rock, so they won’t be reimagined in the same rock style.

I love how it gets the feel of reliving a dark memory that still haunts you

Alearius

Will we be getting lossless encoded versions of these reimagined tracks?

Sam Erde

I’m still waiting for a Purity Ring cover since you teased us years ago on [I think it was Groupees] with that possibility. The Gasoline cover was great, but you know what my vote was. 😁

Thank you for doing these reimagined songs. What a gift!

Mattias Mälk

Beautiful version! I especially love how you sing "revolving" both here and in the original. Fangs! is one of my all time favorites. Its lyrics truly capture the imagination.
