In Echo of the Night, I am edging closer to what was the pinnacle of madness during those early FU days, and this song is in many ways the crux. Although it probably would have been more aligned to release this song in a few months, when I reach that point in the story, it had been a minute since I worked on one, and this one just called to me. I've been listening to Crosby, Stills, and Nash lately, so there might be a slight influence in the sound. However, I've also recently acquired a Jupiter X synth, so I'm thinking the next reimagined might be less acoustic and more synth-based. We will see! It's an incredible instrument but it's just taking a while to dig into it because there are so many freaking buttons!

Love it! Did I read on another post somewhere that these Reimagined tracks will eventually be available for streaming on Spotify/Apple Music etc.?

Dean Parker

Spotify / Apple Music would be ideal.

Jessy Ribordy

Yeah! I'm going to fine tune them and then get them up on streaming services, bandcamp, and hopefully physical media if there's interest in that.

The first song I ever heard from Falling Up. To this day, still the one that holds the most meaning and hits the hardest (in a good way). When I saw there would be a new version of the song, then I knew it was time to give this thing called Patreon a try.

Damn, dude, this is cleeeeaaaaaan. If this recording was a glass door, I’d walk straight into it. Really gorgeous new version.

Hearing this took me back to the feeling I had when I heard the original version the first time. I’m so grateful you’re making music again.

I know this was not your favorite album but it is mine, and this was its most meaningful song to me. I remember listening to it lying in bed and smiling because it was all that music could be. I love this new version. I appreciate you and hearing echoes of the night.
