I hope you don't mind me asking, but I was wanting a bit of clarification on the scope of this project - is the plan to still have the upcoming EP be the first in a trilogy of EP releases (with parts 2 and 3 releasing in 2027) that form a combined larger LP, or have things changed?

It’s cool to hear the process! I think the past few years have adjusted a lot of our thinking in terms of allowing humanity to shine through our work. I have medical writing clients who specifically ask that the content have “imperfections” in sentence structure to distinguish it from AI writing. This isn’t to say that we throw important things like proper spelling and grammar to the wind, but that we allow a hint of inspiration back into even the serious work we do.

I will talk more about this, but yes it’ll be a 3 EP trilogy to equal around 18-20 songs by the end of the project. They will all exist as their own records, but are part of the same project as a whole. Which I’ll get into, soon!

This is so rad. I love hearing behind the curtain like this, and I can hear the excitement you have about this project. Some of the best moments in recorded music come from those little human hiccups or quirks, so I’m glad you’re leaving some in! I’m sure there were plenty left in during TRE (unless that casual feel was entirely staged…haha) but I’m excited to see what gets left in to these new ones! Can’t wait for more of these updates. Thank you for sharing them!
