Apologies for all the confusion this episode lol, just kind of information overload, I think I generally got MOST of what I said right but I am open to being corrected haha

Question, what shows will you be covering summer? There’s a ludicrous amount of good stuff from returning series and new series showing this summer along with continuing series from spring like To Be Hero X.

I'll probably make a list here shortly but I'll for sure be covering all the major shows ! If you have any in particular you're curious about feel free to ask

Gotcha. Right call there, lots of major stuff this upcoming season. A lot of season 2’s or part 2’s along with some major new shows coming out (3 series by cloverworks at the same time!?) there’s a crap load of stuff this summer.

season 2 of peak coming to end and hopefully we get season 3 announcement after it or soon after. And can't wait to see what you react to this summer

The name of the clan is the Shi Clan. "Shihoku-shu" means "Northern Province" but it doesn't really represent the clan name. They are the people of Shi clan, from Shihoku-shu. 🫶🏽

The second request from Loulan is both a curse and a blessing. She wounded Jinshi's face as a curse so it would serve as a reminder of the fall that the Shi clan had to ultimately take just to prevent an imperial disarray. Even then, it's also a blessing for Jinshi to be "flawed" and look less like the late emperor in order to have more of his own identity.

No need to beat yourself up over this ep. It introduced a lot of new information and background that I don't think was alluded to in any previous eps. I read the LN version and it was still a lot to digest and piece together.
