Prolouge done! Time to head to Tracen to begin national racing!

Really loved the drama and how well handled that was, and super happy to see Belno will be continuing to join us as well and her little mini arc she had on the side, despite not being a major focus.

The title of episode 6 "Kaibutsu" or Monster/The Beast was the nickname that Oguri Cap got. Interesting fact stolen from a different comment: This drama surrounding Oguri Cap joining the JRA is 100% real. The JRA (Japanese Racing Associating) is a public company that handles a set of national level horse races, including all graded races (except the Tokyo Daishōten), and is the inspiration for the URA in the show. Regional races organized by local prefectures are overseen by the NAR (National Association of Racing). All races thus far are Kasamatsu regional races. You might consider the JRA "the big leagues." After the win Chukyo Hai many offers from owners within the JRA came flooding in to buy Oguri Cap and thus transfer him to the JRA, and in January 1988 Koichi Oguri, the owner, sold the horse to Isoo Sahashi for 20 million yen. Oguri's trainer, Masao Sumi, was furious, it had long been Sumi's dream to win the Tokai Derby and he believed without Oguri he had now missed his chance. He was correct, he never won the Derby before his retirement in 2002.

A couple interesting factoids about March. First, the irl horse actually beat oguri cap TWICE. That's pretty cool. Also, there's a special one shot spinoff book starring her. A lot of people are hoping it gets adapted as an ova one day.

The shadowed characters towards the end of episode six are (from left to right) Sakura Chiyono O, a CinGray exclusive character who I won't name yet, Mejiro Ardan, and Yaeno Muteki

Fun fact the Oguri Cap plushies actually have lore significance. Oguri Cap became so popular that she actually had plushies made of her, the first horse to have that done.

at 41:10 i do like Rudolph, but holy fuck, my first thought when watching it for the first time was just "Impertinant?! Bitch your out of Line, mind your fucking tone!" Rudolph started that shit in essence, yet will not take part in ANY of the responsibilities of the Problem her Scouting caused to both Kitahara and Oguri Kitahara gave it to Oguri Plain and Clear, and Oguri said No i will not Transfer if that means leaving you behind, the "wager" that Kitahara does, is purely in Tracen & Oguri´s career interest, something he fells forced to do because of Rudolph, yet she has the AUDACITY to put ALL the Responsibility and Blame on Kitahara again Oguri was told, she Understood, and said NO and it pisses me off that no one bother to ask what the fuck SHE thinks obviously comparing to IRL doesnt work here, the Horse has next to no say but these are People whose story we are talking about Rudolph would get into major Trouble in IRL Comp Sports for this, on the grounds of Interfering in another Racers Career for non Altrustic reasons honestly? Rudoplh should be gald that shes an Uma, cause she would Suck as a Trainer at least she Apologized

aperantly it also mimics IRL events, Oguri´s initial Trainer was pissed that the Owner sold Oguri immediatly after the Kasamatsu Junior Cap win, and not even for that much
